I remember watching you ride the 22' yz250f right before I bought mine and I had really wanted one for a while but that video had sold me on it. Went and picked up a 22' of my own and I love that bike so much. Best bike I've ever rode
Snow is covering the ground outside my house. I'm just dreaming about when I can ride again again. I have a 21Yz250f and a 96Kx250. Probably soon to sell the yz because I'm on the heavy side for that motor,(230). At least when it comes to getting over doubles right out of a corner
Winter riding is best. I live in Finland and ride in winter as much as summer. Spiked tires give really good grip. Sometimes we have -35 outside but warm riding gears keeps me warm.
Ride a LOT - practice is the only thing that will make you better. If you want, watch MX training videos on UA-cam. But mostly... HAVE FUN!! That's what it's all about 🤘🏼
@@censorwastaken yea we picked it up on marketplace. I’d love a 85 but nobody in my family rides so we only got myself a bigger bike (I’m 14) because it was cheap. One day, looking at the yz125s but I’m short so seat hight is another thing
Hey man everyone is beginner at some point! At least you’re giving it a shot. You’re question is loaded just a little bit. Some jumps require second gear higher in the rpms to clear. Some jumps you can just be rolling in third and clear. The only thing I can really say to watch out for is never go off a face of the jump right on limiter. You will nose dive hard if you’re not careful. If you know you can hit a jump in second then I would do that especially if you have a tight corner coming up. That way you don’t have to shift down and one less thing to think about. One thing I like to do is clear the jump in second and if there’s a long straight away just after the jump then I’ll click up to 3rd while I’m in the air. That you way you’re not bouncing limiter as soon as you land. Cause at that point you’re not moving any faster and you’re losing time.
@@kyleglen1456 Sometimes I do feel like my dirt bike dips down over a jump. Other times I feel when I land the throttle so sensitive in second gear when landing due to my risk position. Great advice
@@lamarkx2259 you can steer the bike while you‘re in the air by either stepping on the back brake (nose angles down) or giving it some juice (nose tilts upwards) and also: like the other dude said don‘t go off a jump on limiter, and also don‘t go off with no throttle !
I know this is a silly question but I have a re-built 2008 yzf 250 with a new carb installed by the local dealership and new hinson clutch and we can not get it to start once it get hot even with hot start button. It is really difficult to start once hot. Any advice would be welcome. By the way great looking bike.
Wish I would have that kind of track near me!
