Gregory and Eric - Thank you! A new video is under construction for the core support repair (I swear It was cut when I bought it!). Subframe connectors , AC install, and some general cleanup before Power Tour (fingers crossed) are also on the list. Thank you for the support! Stay tuned!
I agree - I love them all but the '70 is my favorite year of the RR's. This is my second 1970, my first was a true RR convertible (RM27N0G178297) that I sold to finance a shop. I would love to see that one again.... Anyway, Thanks for watching! - stay tuned, there are more Roadrunner videos coming soon!
@@ccathey3934 mine too!! I have a Hemi charger 1969 but i want a road runner 1970 next to it🤩 i will subscribe on your channel👌 you can check out my charger on my channel🙂
Thanks for watching Adam. I'm not sure how much fun it would be to watch me talk about an already assembled engine. Some update videos are coming soon for the '21 Power Tour upgrades (serpentine belt setup install, mercedes-benz electric fan install, core support fix, new leaf spring install, and maybe some other stuff if I can afford it....). I will be doing a stroker 383 next year for the D100/200 projects and I will likely detail that one. I will add the engine specs to the title page for anyone that is curious - nothing special or exotic besides the sequential EFI. Feel free to message me with any questions you have.
Great ! Thank you so much. My dad is looking for one for me and him to build together. We were talking about going efi but he told me he has no idea where to start with that haha I guess he’s more of a carb type of guy. We’re looking forward to the updates. I must have watched this video 100 times.
@@adama9099 GO FOR IT!!!! I was a carb guy too - That will help you when tuning - The Megasquirt community was great to learn from and there are many other vendors out there. I eventually chose MS for their cost/features offered and their die hard community - they will be hard to beat.... anyway... building my EFI has taught me so much more about my ride! Imaging jetting and timing changes on the road without turning off your car!!! Welcome to the future!
So Cam did you have to put the pieces together for your EFI setup? Or was it a kit? I remember you were talking with the Edelbrock folks in Louisville in 2019.
Is the overlay of speed and direction in the driving clips, a function of your engine management system/data logging? The reason I am asking is that I saw some data logging systems that incorporate video and overlay sensor data on the play back.
The current setup does not log speed or direction - that was the gopro. Megasquirt dash can be configured with a speedometer if you have a speed sensor on a wheel or driveshaft - but Cam doesn't have that setup .... not yet anyway. Thanks for watching!
Wires along the firewall are the misc coil and EFI install stuff. Most of the wiring will be hidden or re-routed after the teardown for paint - I got lazy and left it all where it was for the testing phase. Since this was my first time playing with Megasquirt stuff- I wanted to keep it all accessible until I had the install figured out. Thanks for watching!
All 4 of these are 18x8 with a 4 1/2" backspacing. Tires are 255/45/18. in Hyndzyte .... It looks like I may be able to get away with a wider rear - also comes in 9.5 with 5.25" backspacing..... stay tuned that may happen.... Wheels are US racing rambler U111's. Thanks for watching! CC

That's the plan!
Nice car I want one of these so bad hard to find one that’s not all rusted out
Thanks. We totally agree. Cam was relieved when Kevin (the body guy) gave it the thumbs up.
Any way you can make a video showing how you did all your engine work? And maybe updating us on any updates on it?
