Just because you have a degree, doesn’t mean that you have enough common sense to come in out of the rain.
most of them are affluenza/daddy's money cases who got in as a legacy instead of qualifications, and many come from homes with trash opinions without a dose of reality because they were insulated generationally with money and an unearned sense of superiority.

@@elgallodeojinaga6909 yeah i dated a woman with two degrees (chemical and molecular engineering) and she lacked a fair bit of common sense, as well as emotional literacy (family was full of academics AND divorcees).

As a hiring manager myself, I hesitate with Ivy League resumes. The entitlement and out of touch character is very real.

Dave, you are so right; there is a "line" there between protesting and hating, and that line extends to all religions and nationalities. It also extends to a protest becoming a threat to those who don't agree with that point of view-- if an individual or group engages in that then you have "crossed the line" and should be expelled from any university or possibly arrested if one committed a crime.

What kind of interview was this..
for all is quirks, dave is honest and authentic. unlike many of his employees and his audience, he understands how fucked up things are. once you have bills, a job, and or a family, you begin to understand the bigger picture.
He doesn't even have kids either. If you want someone to look to for how to live your life and be financially successful look at portnoy. I don't know if this is harsh of me but I see the same people waiting in line at the stores for the new jordans complaining that they can't pay rent when they have 3 kids and rent. Like use a condom or don't have sex. You having kids isn't special. Anyone can do it. YOu are just stupid and have no right to complain about money if you had a kid.

They’re only paying him like 2M a year for the first 10 years of the deal. These sports contracts are never for the advertised number. You have to actually look at the contract.

If you think the stock market or real estate market are safe bets, I got some baaaad news for you about what the historical trend line says when the ratio between median income and median home price sold get anywhere NEAR as bad as it is today, and in 2006-2007 at what was the peak of now the second largest housing bubble in history, we were only 65% as bad as we are now. The bottom 80% are the most indebted and overleveraged in all of modern world history, and when those consumers stop spending CASH (not credit card debt like we've been seeing record levels of), unemployment will triple and homes will crash 40-50%. That's what 2024-2025 will hold.

The problem with this thinking is that you're punishing the students/graduates for the beliefs of the deans, etc. I think it's a fair question to ask anyone from those or any other schools... do you support these beliefs? If so, don't hire them.
