A deep friendship is one in which we feel seen and loved for exactly who we are. And when we are in someone's company and they are in ours, we have agreed to bear witness to each other, and that is a beautiful thing - when we feel safe enough to talk about what’s really on our minds and in our hearts.
When we bear witness, we lovingly give our attention to the other without judgment. When we allow another to bear witness to us, we give ourselves the freedom to be known. It is an honour to bear witness, if we choose to see this life as an opportunity for extraordinary growth. So here's to doing so in strength, in weakness, with resilience, with love.

I remember being in that state of great emotional pain he’s talking about and thinking to my self ‘’the heart is not made by glass, it won’t shatter’’ over and over again, to comfort myself, but then I realised that when it’s shattered many, many, many times, it actually opens and reveals it’s true self, which has completely new and more profound understanding of love, compassion, pain, that the old heart didn’t have and wouldn’t have. 🌹 also, ‘everyday I am ok and not ok’ is just spot on. My heart survives for one reason. 1971 I asked God if He was real and gave a damn about me to show me. INSTANTLY I saw Messiah HaMessiach (aka Jesus Christ) on the cross. He said, “I AM real and I love you this much.” He looked into the core of my being and said, “I know everything about you and I still love you.” Shame and guilt left and I understood what it meant to be saved. It changed my life. I’ve strived since too try to learn how to be like Him. I’m far from it but it changed me.

Pain is a part of life but, it's not why we are here. Mastering your life will evolve you out of pain. Explaining pain as something unavoidable , is a coping strategy, not a solution.

It is unavoidable, everyone will at some point lose loved ones, friends, pets, and eventually pass themselves, whether it's emotional or physical we will encounter it. It's the flip side of all the beauty
Growing through the pain dissipates it. Pain is an opportunity for growth. It hurts but is not bad and avoiding it is a missed opportunity.
@@Toby57548Self mastery to me began when I started to have stopping my thoughts one at a time as part of an ongoing practice. Unnecessary, negative, repetitive, etc. thoughts make life problematic and is a source of stress and suffering. It was an arduous process but I’m, at this point, able to be present without incessant thinking. I am fully aware of my thoughts when they come up. My life is so much better now. I don’t need heartbreak, etc. to feel aware of the present moment. It’s now my natural state.

l love watching your videos when the featured person's life experiences are very different from my own. Brilliant editing ….because it’s not until 8 minutes in to the video that the editor decides to reveal that audience that something special is going to happen…..an event. Most “youtube editors” would frontload with a teaser. By waiting until 8 minutes in…..it feels like….a little reward for those of us that were patient enough and in-tune with the message.

Anis is my favorite poet and I have been a big fan since the Junkyard Ghost Revival. I've read every word of his I can find, published, online, wherever, and I've seen him perform live when I can.
