the true "pain" of this life isn't the actual physicality of the traumatic experiences, but rather the learning knowledge we gain by understanding that the world we inhabit isn't the safe, loving space we're brought up to feel..... having experienced both extreme trauma, as well as soaring heights of success, I can honestly say that throughout this life I've been able to survive with my never ending vision of positive instances just over the horizon of experience. the positive life experience FAR outweighs the negative impact of the past if you allow yourself to know that you are bigger then your experiences, both good and bad. let go of the past, since that experience is behind you. stay humble within the experience of success in order to maintain your sanity as those around you are changed by your experience. in order to remind myself of this, I often turn to a poem by mary schmich, "wear sunscreen"...... all of life is contained therein.........
We are all here on a special journey, our pain is meant for us to learn from and make us who we are. If we listen close although we may not understand our suffering right now it may lead us to reach someone else who is hurting and that can mean more than anything else we may accomplish in life. Michael, Justine and all of you, thank you for another heart-touching film. It is so nice to get to know the people of Singapore, a country, which seemed such an enigma up to now. It was a pleasure to meet Weish and to hear her beautiful voice. What an amazing, loving and feeling person she is. How profound were her writings at a tender age of 8! Writing is very healing. I am so happy that she found someone that she feels "safe" with. I think that she nailed it. Our life partners need to be people that we feel safe to be with, where it is ok to show our good, our ugly, and all the other sides of ourselves. I am sorry for the pain that she experienced in the past. I don't quite understand what happened, but however horrific it was, I hope that she is healing, forgiving, and, in time, when she is ready to, letting go of it. I am not sure if I understand what was said, but I hope that Weish is learning to love the beautiful self that she is right now and enjoying today, just as it is. I, myself, have wished many times that I could go back and undo or do differently the things in my life until I realized that these choices and experiences have brought me here, where I am today, that pain, suffering, joy, and all of the other experieces, good and bad, culminated in the beautiful person that i am today. thank you.

Michael, Justine and all of you, thank you for another heart-touching film. It is so nice to get to know the people of Singapore, a country, which seemed such an enigma up to now.
It was a pleasure to meet Weish and to hear her beautiful voice. What an amazing, loving and feeling person she is. How profound were her writings at a tender age of 8! Writing is very healing.
I am so happy that she found someone that she feels "safe" with. I think that she nailed it. Our life partners need to be people that we feel safe to be with, where it is ok to show our good, our ugly, and all the other sides of ourselves. I am sorry for the pain that she experienced in the past. I don't quite understand what happened, but however horrific it was, I hope that she is healing, forgiving, and, in time, when she is ready to, letting go of it. I am not sure if I understand what was said, but I hope that Weish is learning to love the beautiful self that she is right now and enjoying today, just as it is.
I, myself, have wished many times that I could go back and undo or do differently the things in my life until I realized that these choices and experiences have brought me here, where I am today, that pain, suffering, joy, and all of the other experieces, good and bad, culminated in the beautiful person that i am today.
