Really been waiting for a great video on the RCBS Comp dies. I see clearly how they function now. Wish these RCBS dies were not as pricey as they are.

Well said! The .243 is kinda like a necked down .308. Great observation

@@Ultimatereloader do you have to have that extension shell holder? I bought 223 rem in matchmaster. I seen your video on 6.5 creedoor and didn't see you use it. Just curious

Really enjoy your videos. Thanks for posting them. Question: COULD YOU DO A VIDEO ON USING THE REDDING BODY SIZING DIE? Doing more bench rest precision reloading and this would be very helpful! Thanks!

Thank you for your videos, your channel is becoming a go-to for information on products that catch the eye. My question is, have you tested the bullet runout with a concentricity gauge after using this seating die? PSA seems to have a good deal on the die set for .308 but I'm still hesitant to "pull the trigger." ;-)

Gavin, how do you find run out on these dies? Many reviews insist they are poor on run out and dies like the Forster are superior. I really like the bullet insertion window though.
    Thanks

Any comparison to the Redding competition seater die?

it would be awesome to figure how to make that RCBS Bullet Seating die work with an auto bullet feeder on a progressive press.

I love your videos. Best learning and informational I have found. I am trying to figure out which RCBS Precision Mic would work for loading 30-30 Win. I am new at reloading and this one has me stumped. Thanks.

I've been using the .243 RCBS comp dies for about a year now. Really like them and they sure turn out some accurate rounds with minimal runout.! It sounds like you are still impressed with the MEC press. I'm very interested in upgrading to either MEC or Foster. If given the choice, what would you pick between the two..?

Good video, I apologize if I missed this info. I have the same die and I love it, it allows me to keep every single cartridge's OAL the same based off Ogive. I noticed that you just loaded each bullet. Did you sort and separate the bullets prior to seating? I don't, so I have to take each bullet out and measure it with my bullet comparator and caliper. It's a slow process but I am OK with it as long as all my OALs are the same. Just curious what your process was, I was thinking it was just to show how the die works? Thanks, I'll be subscribing!

Can the RCBS comp seating body be used with different calibers by Just changing the "floating collar"?
    Please answer Gavin.

I am new to reloading. My first dieset is the matchmaster full length competition for a .243... I am confused... Someone told me it is supposed to crimp the neck... I don't see anything that crimps the neck. I have a neck sizer bushing though... Do I need a crimp on the neck? If so, how do I do that?

I hate this set of RCBS Competition dies cos the seating die add a huge run out. With the sizer I have a run out between 0.001" and 0.002" and after the seater I have around 0.01" ...

I like the window and the micrometer, but runout is pretty bad on mine.

Only thing I can say is your powder set up is no way by any means accurate I've even tried most electronic scales and there no way close to accurate only way to do it if you want consistency is to use a bar scale and drop piece at a time I can load you 50 or how many ever rds and all will shot within 10fps that's were precise shooting comes from all other stuff is just icing on the cake just my advice not telling you what to do but maybe help you put bullet hole in bullet hole and like your setup thanks

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way. Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out.
Look for signs that you are saved. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!
