That's some genius sh*taki! Didn't work for mine, but I'm thoroughly impressed to see you Plan B'd that crap and conquered it. These batteries are outrageously expensive to be so fragile and undependable
It worked for me! Thanks Note: drill the holes right on the O for the Neg side & right in between the U & M for a for sure Alignment to the bar you are trying to hit! But Thanks !
So, in short, the battery overall voltage is too low for the charger. What you're trying to do is boost the voltage so it forces it to accept a charge. The best repair is to open the battery and replace the dead cells. If you have enough dead batteries, you could use good cells from bad batteries to make one good battery. If you wanted, you could buy fresh larger capacity cells for the packs that have had all the good cells taken out. Moral of the story? Don't leave batteries discharged for long periods of time. I would say no more than a day. (overkill? Maybe, but you get good life out of it.) I purposely bought faulty batteries just for salvage parts I want.
Warum den risikoreichen Weg mit dem bohren der 2 Löcher ins Gehäuse? 5 Schrauben auf, davon eine versteckte und das Gehäuse lässt sich öffnen. english? Why you drill the 2 holes in the battery case? It's risky. Open the 5 screws. 1 of this screw is hidden. And open the case.
Thanks, the drill method works with my P190 battery. However, as stated in a comment above, I had make the drill hole on the "O" in ryobi.

Dziękujemy za podpowiedź. Mam nowy set z Home Depot i dokupiłem 2 baterie. Ciekawe ile będą ok?
