A Journey in Search of Freedom through surf travel - The Salt Trail (PART ONE)

This is the intro to my debut fully self funded feature film, The Salt Trail.
London surf film festival review: This visual gem is a sensory and cinematic masterpiece that takes us on a voyage and delves into the true meaning of surf travel. Journeying through Indonesia from the crowded points of Bali to the isolation of The Mentawai islands, this film captures the joys and the pains of exploration, and the rewards that will stay with you long after the journey is over. It is a film to stir the soul and stoke the wanderlust and, showcasing some deepest, sweetest tube rides, it'll have you packing your bags for your own Indian Ocean voyage of discovery.
The film was shot in 2011, released in 2012. Then released for free on UA-cam 2024. I made the film with nothing but the coins in my pocket, no real plan other than to live in the moment and see what comes out of it. The film was received pretty well and it's still stoking the soul all these years later:)
