I cannot figure how to take the battery pack off

A girl here, where are the release buttons? Battery out?
In the black area on the battery near the red handle of the tool, you will see places marked to place your fingers and pinch inward. Sometimes you have to pinch really hard then pull the battery out.

I bought one with a battery and charger for $280 USD . . . works great but the battery is hard to remove. Any tips?
We are having trouble taking out the battery.
