Also, since you mentioned it, Optimus didn't hate humans. He was more upset that Noah now knew they existed, and didn't fully trust humans.
For your idea on Rex and the clones, what about a show similar to IMPS, only instead of it being a documentary, each episode is one of the clones telling a story from their past. It would make for a great anthology series and allow each episode to have a slightly unique feel to fit each clone's personality. I know I'd watch it. Also, any story about Mace needs to get into his rumoured experimentation with the Dark Side. Did he really dabble in it? Or was it something else, such as Nightsister magic that he's studied? Mace strikes me as being stoic enough that he could actually mess with dark forces and not fall to them. Perhaps that's also why he paid so much attention to how Dooku's gifts affected him. Lucas originally envisioned a third side, the Bendu, and Mace is the closest we've ever gotten to a true Bendu in the Lucas and Phase II Canons. To finally bring him back without exploring what makes him one of the most unique and compelling Jedi in the Lucas Canon would be a crime. And perhaps there's an inner struggle Mace fights because of his dabbling in whatever darker aspect of the Force that Qui Gon knew about, and that's the real reason he chose Mace to be caretaker of the planet that made him one with the Force. In my mind, that quote about sitting in a tower is a double entendre - because the Jedi shut themselves off from others to avoid temptations, becoming prisoners of their own minds in many ways.
Regarding the Mad Max prequel, think back a few years, when nobody was excited for another prequel: Andor. Turned out to be the best thing to happen to Star Wars since The Last Command.

You know the really sad part? We have shows coming out this year that fit a lot of what Disney Lucasfilm is promising - but actually DELIVERS. For example: Stormtroopers episode 3 should be dropping either this year or 2025. Act 2 of Ancient Sith Quest (which itself is a sequel to Lord Evadious) should also be coming out. It's about a renegade Sith acolyte who's been possessed by an ancient Sith lord. And there are about half a dozen other movies and episodes currently slated for (it tentatively slated for) 2024. Best of all, they all feature ten times the writing quality, a genuine Lucas and/or Phase II canon feel, and all combined for less than the budget of a single Disney Lucasfilm episode. I really wish News From Naboo covered more fan films, because many o them are simply insane in terms of quality - even to the point they look like Lucas himself filmed some of them! As for Ghostbusters, I think the original trilogy (According to Harold Ramus, Ghostbusters: The Video Game is the canon finale to the original trilogy, hence why Afterlife wasn't given a number) WAS family friendly ESPECIALLY when comparing it to the softcore porn they market to kids on Disney Channel and other "kid" channels these days. Of course, I saw the original Ghostbusters in the cinema when it first came out, so that might have something to do with it - but I definitely plan to let my kids watch the first two movies when they're around 5-6 (so they actually have a clue what's happening). Also, their holiday lineup at that agre will include another classic - Gremlins is just as much a Christmas movie as Die Hard (a legendary local cinema which sadly fell victim to the lockdowns used to show the duology every Christmas as a matinee double-feature). Most of the other movies coming out just sound "meh", with the POSSIBLE exception of Aliens, an THAT is only because the Predator prequel actually proved itself worthy. There's a prediction that 2024 will see Hollywood go under due to the huge budgets and losses (which Thor inadvertently substantiated just the other day regarding Godzilla Minus Zero's massive success compared to US Godzilla productions). I can see Ghostbusters doing modestly well - IF more people actually find out it's even being released yet. Absolutely zero advertising from what I've seen... Aliens will also likely do well if it's anything like Predator: Prey, since there are still plenty of fans willing to give the franchise another chance since it hasn't been all downhill. But just about everything else on that list will likely either make very modest returns or be a huge flop.
Is Deadpool really the only MCU movie coming out this year? Or is it the only one from Naboo's list? Because that is impressive that Marvel is falling back to Phase 1 level of production. You kinda wish that Sony is smart enough to do the same thing, but I guess not, with 3 movies of a dying franchise. Are they trying to go for quantity of movies to make the money that they need to cover the cost of keeping the Spider-Man rights rather than 1 major, quality movie that can provide them with the money? Because I foresee that each of these films are gonna get the Morbius treatment.
Hollywood...please PLEASE STOP with the sequels, prequels, and reboots! The Fall Guy was a TV show back in the 80s. So apparently this is yet another a reboot, or "reimagining", of an old show.
@@rector0455 I'm not a casual lol I just think a show set in the High Republic, focused on the Sith is an awesome idea. I love the cast as well. My biggest fear is just because it's Disney and they've f*cked up a lot in the past
@@gabrielrangel956 It's a cool idea that they're certain to screw up because they have zero regard for established lore as has been repeatedly demonstrated by Disney Slop Wars. You need to be surgical, nuanced and have a good understanding of how the Sith are supposed to behave in this era in order to pull this off, and if you fail at that the potential to screw up the rule of two or even the entire prequels is on the table. Anyone with any sense at this point is rooting for Disney to just stop.

Yes, it is the only movie, and probably the only one that's going to make money
100% filler, I am not interested in anything that Disney has to offer.
Hollywood...please PLEASE STOP with the sequels, prequels, and reboots!
The Fall Guy was a TV show back in the 80s. So apparently this is yet another a reboot, or "reimagining", of an old show.
Silo season 2
I'm really hyped for Acolyte
My condolences.
@@LocrianDorianCasual nufans may enjoy it, they have no concept of what they're losing in exchange for it after all.
@@rector0455 I'm not a casual lol
I just think a show set in the High Republic, focused on the Sith is an awesome idea. I love the cast as well.
My biggest fear is just because it's Disney and they've f*cked up a lot in the past
@@LocrianDorian I love your mode username tho, dorian should be considered the "main" mode as it was in medieval times
For once I have to say I actually couldn't disagree much more with you on something. As a fan of the old Mad Max films I absolutely hhhhhhAted Fury Road. Really wanted to like it and expected to, but it was just horrible to me. Maybe this new one can be alright, and I won't hold the last one against it. I will give it a chance.
On the Star Wars front, I don't know why but I have zero interest in The Acolyte and actually have some hope for Skeleton Crew. Mostly, I just want season 2 of Andor.
Yeah I’d much rather Disney create their own stuff (i.e. the high republic) than continue to muddle the histories of these beloved characters from the OT and PT with these nonsensical comic storylines.
Gotta say im just not looking forward to any of these shows really. Maybe Bad Batch S3 and Tales of the Jedi, mainly because im really hoping they will explore Baylan's story there specifically.
Oh i soo want the DARK FORCES remaster!! I still have that classic using the Doom engine on the PS1.
Young Jedi Adventures is better than Resistance.
Yeah, I'm not really looking forward to Joker 2. I mean why make it a musical? Is that just because Lady Gaga takes over the role of Harley Quinn?
Star Wars is so bad now, that people think the prequels are good. Let that sink in
The Acolyte sounds like complete trash. I’ll leave that one to y’all and just catch the review
Of those movies and shows I'll watch: skeleton crew, tales of the Jedi (if Obi or Qui-Gon is in it), Deadpool, Dune, Planet of the Apes and Ghostbusters.
So this might be more movies then last year🫣
Rian Johnson sucks
First!
