You all mention Plucky Squire feels like Nintendo, but were just pointing to Devolver as the publisher. There is actually a strong Nintendo connection! The creator of the game James Turner is a long time GameFreak vet. He was the first (and only?) Western artist to design Pokémon. This is his new studio's first game!
maybe I misinterpreted Blessing's tone, but whats wrong with it being a bit more geared towards a younger audience? some of these games can still be enjoyed by an older audience, and this one seems very much in that vein too
Games only made for kids are not generally ones that do well or hell get the love from people. Kids don't want a game only for kids, every major title like a Nintendo is made for everyone not just one tiny audience. Same with Fortnite and so on.
Hearing grown men who play Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Animal Crossing and what not call this game childish sounds bias. xD Gladly we have Andy and Parris who actually played more than 1h of this pearl.
Coming from someone who has like 80 hours in stardew Im having a blast with mistria. Honestly I think this podcast has single handedly managed to sell like 10k copies of this game lol
Mike: “I love this game” “I had an absolute blast” Also Mike: “This game is not for me” WTF? Dude sounds just like someone who’s scared to admit he likes animated movies because they are “for children”.
I'm so excited for Plucky, and glad it seems to be hitting on it's promise. My only complaint is that it and Zelda: EoW are too close! I really hope that one doesn't overshadow the other and they both review and sell well. And that I have time to play both!
I feel like Andy is about to be disappointed bc Mistria doesn’t get the romance update until November/December on their roadmap right now they only allow the 4 heart flirting progression
"To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up." - CS Lewis
I’m 32, I hope I never get to the point that these guys are at where they just dismiss something so wholesome and creative because they deem it to childish. Adults need to let themselves have fun and feel like kids sometimes.
Why are you guys so insecure about your age that you let it not enjoy the game as much as you could? It’s okay to like games that aren’t M rated with guns and gore and murder
This and visions of mana bless only played and hour to two hours. Bless is so lazy when it comes certain games, if your gonna be on a gamecast to talk about games put more effort in man. That's two games this week and it's not the first time he's done this. Do the damn work bless!
Mike has been delivering some truly incredible rants lately, and I am here for all of them. 👏🏻🖤

I cant wait for this game, it really looks creative and fun, one of my most anticipated for the year
Mike with a random jaws shirt - love it
It's Mike...if it wasn't random, it'd be random

I think it speaks volumes more than if others called it childish.
Two previews this week already played only one hour. Bless becoming that dude in the group project that not going to do his part of the work.
@@dirizarr That's so many Blessing reviews. He often only plays 1 hour. Like... it's literally your job.
Better off watching streamers to see the game yourself
To be fair, Mike has only played through Kirby and played Pokemon when he was younger.

Dude 100% feels weird and insecure

The KF peeps made me buy fields of Mistria the other day. 13 hours later and I want and need more.

Concord also has to compete with a new Overwatch 2 season, WoW expansion and Wukong will still be big then too.
This is KFG Vol. 3, Episode 74 (Episode 558 overall)
Mike: 'I drained a frog'. 🐸💦👀
Look like Indie of the Year to me

Lol "I'm too adult and mature for colors and creativity! Where gun and blood and pvp???"
That's definitely not what any of them said.
