Excellent video bro! I love life hacks like that and it seems to work great so thanks for sharing…. The best part is I’ve got loads of old nitro fuel in the shed 👍🤘

Found this out the hard way and to my cost, when very small splashes of either fuel, or wet exhaust filth spoiled my beautiful candy blue paint job on my 1/8th Tamiya Mini 🤦🏻‍♂️
I had painted it with either Pactra or Custom Colour and only found out after it was finished that the brand I used did their own aerosol nitro fuel barrier to protect paint.
I had no idea how vital it was.
After only a couple of runs the paintwork had blotches.
Needless to say I bought the protector, but I’m still yet to sit down and mask the whole Damn body up YET again so I can treat it ☹️🤦🏻‍♂️
It’s just languished in an RC bag for years.
So always use paint protector on nitro cars fellas 👍🏻

Great tip!👍😊I have had success with using alcohol swabs. But it takes a much longer time to remove the paint.

Had luck with alcohol on the Tamiya stuff...not so much with other paint. It does take a while for sure.

If you brush a coat on the body and cover with saran wrap for 20 minutes then do it like you were doing it you can do a body in under 1 hour this has worked for me many times 👍

I have not used it except for cleaning up some overspray but it did work when I tried it for that. I just ordered some of the Tamiya polycarbonate cleaner to try and see how well that stuff works. It is a pain to find and not cheap but if it works super well it would be worth it!

It's suppose to work well. At the time of this shoot...I would of had to import it & it was super expensive. Keep us posted brother.

I’ve had great success with nitro. Don’t let your towel or applicator sit in one spot keep it moving around. If it sits in one spot for too long it will milk the body.

Purple power works too. You’ve gotta soak the body in it for days though

I tryand use Boki for all my bodies...but I don't think he is popping them yet. Look for Sabula tech online.
