Honestly Walking Dead went down hill quick after Jon Bernthal left. He made the first two seasons very special because of his dynamic acting. Just my humble opinion.

Holy shit when he said he just finished filming season 2 of The Punisher I screamed and clapped. This man is my hero because the way he portrays Frank brings me back to the days when I worked in a small comic book shop reading issues of Nathan Edmondsons Punisher. Pure Beauty.... Great podcast!

Before watching this, I knew he was an actor, but WHILE WATCHING I totally forgot this guy was an actor, it's unbelievable how relatable he is to everyone. He literally acts and talks like one of the best friends you had growing up, the one who doesn't judge anyone and is comfortable in his own skin. Holy shit. I am officially a Jon Bernthal fan. Love the man and respect the f*ck out of him.

Yeah, Shane's survival instinct was ahead of everyone else's and he got killed for it. Sure he was a little crazy, but are we going to pretend Rick doesn't act psychotic now and then? He had the right mindset at the wrong time.
Vega Valentine Rick has gone full Shane. I think Shane is coming back as a reminder and spirit of what Rick has become, that would be a good exit for rick too since he is already quieting the show.
They should have told Shane to leave the group. He could then have been on Fear the walking dead and met up with the walking dead see what would have happened.

Bernthal is great. I smile, because when he is asked a simple question, he gives a whole back story lol The question was "Was boxing what you did first, before acting", his answer was to hype up his friend xD None of this is my business, but I wish I could have a conversation with Jon Bernthal. Like putting yourself out as I did, going on auditions, taking classes, being....man, no one prepares you for that realization that the one thing you saw yourself doing (acting), is the top thing you're bad at. So I kept trying and kept trying....still some how I got worse at acting. From age 4 to age 27 or 28, I got worse, they say it takes 20 years to make an actor...but never say anything about that not about getting worse. I started to question what do people do with their hands when playing a character on stage. Who asks such a thing? Someone who can't just be. smh. Mad respect to Bernthal for his stuff, and Punisher should have gotten another season.

Sweet baby Jesus. Admittedly, I knew little to none of Jon's work before The Punisher, as I have never seen a single episode of The Walking Dead (of course I've heard how amazing it is, but I cannot stand zombie movies/shows, personally), nor had I seen almost anything else he's in. But after seeing the Punisher when he first appeared in Daredevil way back when, I did a deep dive into Mr. Bernthal's other work. He is so well spoken, intelligent, inspirational, and just seems like such an all around good guy that I'd be a huge fan even if he didn't play an epic superhero (and do a great job at it no less). And let me just say: I didn't think it possible for me to love him anymore than I already did...but did he just say he's good friends with Chali 2na!!?! Get out of here Jon...probably somewhere around 9.9 people out of 10 don't even know who that is, let alone are they friends with the man. I didn't think it possible but I'm pretty sure he just usurped my #1 man-crush spot from Jason Mamoa....lmao.
The first season of the walking dead is worth a watch. The focus isn’t really on the zombies but the people.
