HG042-S 3-IN 1New Internal Filter Unboxing
• Hygger 3 in 1 Internal...
Here is the Hygger HG044-S 3-in-1 Internal aquarium filter. In this video, I will show you the filter, how to take it apart, and its parts. I hook it up so you can see it at work. - Домашні улюбленці та дикі тварини
That moves the water pretty good ...I love the current
It does move water, there was a spray bar to the right of it as well but it did come out with good pressure.
Looks like a neat little filter, thanks for demonstrating it! 🙂👍
Thanks for watching, will have one more coming out soon.
Fast and furious uploads.
Thanks for the link.
That happens in shipping.. no biggy.
Looks like a great little filter with a strong Powerhead
Do we ever read instructions. I probably should buy generally don't with filters 😉
Cool that you don't need to use Powerhead..
Interesting.. would make a great fry and shrimp pump..
Still watching
I figured I would try to get some out as I have slowed down a bit. This was a great opportunity when Hygger reached out about the filters and that I'm getting closer to 1k. I rarely read any unless it is something I'm not familiar with. It is nice to be able to use it any way you need it. The filter is also sold by itself without the power head at around half the cost. So it's nice to have different options.
Excellent video. Looks like a good filter.
Thanks, it's not to bad and should work well in various size tanks.
Loving the Hygger reviews.
Thank you
Very awesome video amazing unboxing and reviews great 👍 job
Thank you Melvin
Your welcome anytime my friend
Great review mate, covered everything. Now I want both of them haha.. Will wait till the last in the series to see what I'm going to go for. 👍
I wanted to get this one uploaded as you mentioned you were looking into the filters and wanted to show you this one. Thanks for coming by.
@@DeFreeseAquariums ah thanks very much mate. Shouldn't have rushed it for me. I'm not in a hurry, I have enough filters on my tanks. Can't resist a new fish hobby gizmo to play with though. 😉
Sorry 4 all the comments but yay they help the channel right? Lol. That plant is my favorite live plant. Here in Southwest Florida they label it as Cambomba.
No problem, I guess it does lol. Do you mean the Limnophila Heterophylla, It's similar "The leaf shapes sort of look like mini Wisteria leaves but it grows more like a Cabomba." Cabomba is from the Cabombaceae family, The Limnophila is from the Plantaginaceae family.
@@DeFreeseAquariums yes it was the huge amount in that tank. They could label it wrong here as it petsmart lol.
cool
Thanks
Only thing I can see that would make the power head part better is a end piece or tip for directing the water flow up or down ect. The power heads at Wal-Mart n other shops has the end pc im talking about if you've seen those. I like using them so I can push the water flow sideways to the glass or away from live plants. It would also allow you to direct the flow up to create surface movement. Just my thoughts though and not a necessity..
That it would, my other power head had that and it's would be a nice addition to these going forward. I will mention that to them.
@@DeFreeseAquariums cool cool. It's definitely not a problem but it is a nice feature that probably wouldn't add a lot of cost in the making of the filter. 👍👍
It's possible, what I thought was and didn't know about it until I looked at the tank as the lights went out and had seen the plant close up like a flower.
I felt my heart skip when you said those nasty words..... instruction manual lol. That type of internal filter I don't think I would mind having inside the tank. I have a 20 gallon Top fin kit tank that has a "box filter like a hob" it just takes up to much room inside the tank in my opinion. Have you used these style filters b4? I'll be curious on the feed back in a couple months. Anyways thanks for sharing with us 👍👍
Lol instruction manual, I knew some would feel the pain lol. I have used something similar years ago. They did a good job, the one I had didn't have the power head. Not sure what tank it will go on. Most of my larger tanks have hobs and canisters on them. The large is too big for my smaller tanks. But I will do am update at some point once I put it on a tank.
For lack of better words, is that basically a power head with a fluidized filter?
I had gone into this filter and fluidized filters and the difference but edited it out. The bio balls don't undulate like a true fluidized filter. By the look of it, one could think that but without the movement, it's just a cylindrical hob. Biological filtration and mechanical filtration with power head acting as the pump or motor.
Why would you have to keep the powerhead above water? Also...I know what you mean on that junk airline they use. I just throw it away.
You can have it partially above or below. I misspoke as they talked about keeping the switch above water for electrical safety (Mo switch) and the top of the power head has an opening and just took it out of the box as doing the video and wasn't sure about submersion due to the opening. I had other heads that I fully enclosed and submersible. I run some at the surface to help gas exchange and surface movement and others midway dowm.
@@DeFreeseAquariums Out of curiosity I pulled up the owners manual. It is a fully submersible power head. They even show it sitting on the bottom of the aquarium. I just thought your viewers might want to know. Thanks for the review.
Yes, that's where I had seen it. When I did the video it was right out of the box and didn't look at the instructions, I just happened to see the small part about the switch and water as I was doing the video. I will be doing an update once I speak with Hygger about some questions I had that I didn't bring up in the video. Seeing the top was open and the inside was exposed I had concerns.
@@DeFreeseAquariums Completely understandable.
I know this is an old video but, I can't find this unit anywhere. Where is it available? its not on Amazon, not even in the Hygger store. Please help
