The strategy may work for the other person when they are on the defensive moving away, problem is Manny still catches you after you attack him, this is why Shane could not mount any form of offense cause he got punished each time he did. Not many boxers can pull this off because it requires great timing, speed and aweness.

If you facing someone thats ready to fight, its 40% game plan and you'll spend the remaining 60% finding a way to adapt. Thats exactly what happened to shane.

Younger and faster fighters will have better chance now that Nazeem exposes the strategy to beat Pacquiao. Mayweather should step up and stop talking 'take the test' and just fight Pacquiao.
