@Mobile Winter Camp I was thinking the same thing when I opened it. Wanted to say something but then someone would have chimed in “so and so did this!” Lol so I kept it to myself lol. Thanks for watching
Looks pretty awesome. I have wanted to try a DIY stove project for awhile. Seems like a great project for the family. It's looks just like one of those Danchel ones from Amazon. I like it. He did a great job. Would love the blue prints
@JBC cat diy projects are a ton of fun. He did a great job with this one. Maybe he will share some blue prints when he has 3.0 version done. He plans to make more and make changes. Thanks for watching
There’s nothing like a Christmas Story reference to start the day, then an Ace Ventura one to keep it going. What a cool set up. I’d rock that stove left and right. Makes me wish it was colder around here. I’m going with 2 burns. Happy Super Bowl Sunday my friend. PS I’ve got an idea- what about a hot tent stove that leads to a smoker box outside the tent? Late night brisket for the morning.
@Jeff Jackson I have some welding gloves for the wood stove at home. If I start using them, that means an end to the burn count lol. We can’t have that now. Thanks for watching
pretty sweet... you could add stays to the chimney like on a mast if you wanted to use the stove sans a tent... maybe glue a leather patch on your glove finger tips... scrap leather from a couch cushion and some superglue for fabric
Dude you are the Howie Mandell of bushcrafting. I mean that as a compliment. Your a riot. But educational. Thanks for making great content. I appreciate what you do. You make it look easy. It's not.
@Doug Hubble thank you so much for the kind words my friend. I really enjoy sharing my adventures with you all. Enjoy the positive feedback even more. Also Howie is the man! Thanks for watching
Thank you, but there need to create a version for a tent: 1. A door isolation. 2. 25% bigger size. 3. Make 2 nd space for burning a pyrolysis wood gas. 4. Use unburning hardware...
Hats off to the builder of the stove. Very well thought out design and use of materials. Thanks for sharing this man. 1 man tipi would be a video I would enjoy.
My first thought was, a new way to burn himself…you came through like the champ you are. Of course I think the “giddy as a school girl” count exceeded the burn count.

Hey , Spackmann , in your opinion , would it be safe to make my own hot tent out of any cheap kind of tent ⛺ ? I'd like to know what you think about it and if it's possible . Thank you and have a great week day . 👍
@Stranger’s night absolutely!!!!! Any tent as long as it’s done safely. Proper space away from walls, I think 12”-24” is recommended by others. You can always protect the walls with something as well. If you can make stuff the possibilities for a hot tent are endless. Thanks for watching
@@AdventureswithSpackmann Nope not "safe' I am a blacksmith and nope galvanized would never be a safe bet in my tent.... Always worth the effort to use good steel. Also the door sucks it is so flimsy. gotta do better than that to sell it to me. Way too easy to do it right the first time and not have to deal with the SUCKS.
Very cool stove. I'd be a little worried about warping if all the clips aren't tight. I'd leave it clipped until it is cool. It definitely makes a nice small package. Thanks for the video. I'd be interested in knowing the tin cuts that resulted from making the stove.
@mushercdn lmao I’ll ask him how many cuts he got. That’s a great question and I’ll let you know. Letting cool with the clips in place is a good idea. Yeah warping will be a problem for the thin metal without added support. Thanks for watching

One issue with that steel type is anything around 400 degrees produces a gass that is lethal in closed spaces like tents.
