How to setup Lorex Security system sensitivity and threshold. The lorex smart 4k nvr security system has these features set to default settings, but the lorex security system needs to have these changed to meet your needs. Thank you! This helped me figure out “regions“ in the motion detection area. In my version Lorex had three regions available color-coded red yellow and blue. In the playback area they had the same three colors: red coded alarm, yellow coded motion detection, and blue coded smart detection. I had connected the colors in my head to mean that the red “region“ was for alarm, the yellow region was for motion detection and the blue region for smart detection. You showed me that was incorrect and help me understand how regions work. Many thanks.

I bought my system in spring of 2023 at costco and screen doesn't look anything like that so all the buttions to select aren't there. Not sure where to find a tutorial the same as mine.

You mislead the conception of regions.No need to put the blue region if you don't want any alarm...just keep the region blank and the unit won't pick up those zones! Each color zones is for zone sensibility purpose ex. Pool/grass/patio. You don't want the same sensibility for the pool has the patio. Thank you

Hook up a hdmi cable and add a mouse to usb and should work.

Nvm, it doesn’t work that way... it still detects vehicle.. in the zone what I don’t want(road)

My garage camera used to do that, I made sure that I have it set to person and not car selected in the app and cut back on the sensitivity until it ignored the cars.

under motion detection setting I just have person detection setting enabled and disable vechical and face detection. I the adjust sensitivity down slighty until it stops with the cars
