Neil made it right to the finish line and never lost it! The entire band each lives life to the fullest! Live with no regrets. Live life each day and stop waiting for tomorrow! Started to ride motorcycles just last year at age 52. I'm so glad I didn't wait a day longer. Next, airplanes! This song has been with me for decades.
Love that they got Ben Mink to add his violin to this, Rush is incomparable and the best band in history their music stands the test of time and will for generations to come.
I've loved Rush since I was 12 and heard The Trees on the radio in 1979. I always loved this song too, but it took on a different meaning after I was paralyzed in a diving accident in 1992. It's a beautiful song.
Love this song. It can bring a tear to your eye. The video is great. Keep up the good work. And I love the interplay between Alex's guitar work and Mr Mink on violin.
@BeerzAlternativeRockz can you do something with Geddy's I am...You Are? I heard it on progressive radio and it was great. Should have made it on the re-release of My Favorite Headache.
OMG if was to make a video of this song this would be it... The video tells the story perfect.. Please do one for Middle Town dreams.. Please make it like this where you put the lyrics to a visual reality. Love this and thank you
The greatness of music for me is when a band can evoke different emotions in the listener. This song to me is so sad. Leaves me very melancholy. i’m thankful that Rush allowed themselves to do songs like this, amongst their hard rock material. It shows their depth as people. A second thought. All of us jump out of our skin, talking about how great a drummer Neil was. In the rock annals of history to me he was the best. But can you not say the same about him as a lyric writer? He was amazing. I think it would be wonderful if someone wrote a very in-depth book about Neil‘s life as a writer and breakdown what he has done.
It really exemplifies the fact of why they could NEVER be so easily genre labeled and why music critics and radio formats of past, for the most part couldn’t stand them. They really have become a genre unto themselves by creating and developing such a unique sound and character completely different from the rest of the music industry/flavor of the day bands, and pretty much defied all of the conventional ways of achieving success in the music business.#RIPNEP#Geddy & Alex rule.🤘🖖✌️🎸🎤🥁🎹🎻🥇🇨🇦🎼🌎
It's the same band and it's just the next album. Why should it sound the exact same? I appreciate Rush because it carried its particular precision into every piece. No slough-offs.
My LOVE of Rush can not be overstated. A blessing to have had the music.
When RUSH became a 4 piece band. One of their very best songs. Neil outdid himself when he wrote this and the song itself is poignantly beautiful.
This song and The Pass are self tributes to the king of prog rock drummers
Signals, the best album
...not me, but that certainly is a great choice. 🚦🚥 👍
This is one of my favorite( of which there are MANY) Rush songs!
I love this song so much…
Aonde tem Rush.....o like é certo ! Long life to Rush !

"Sadder still to watch it die than never to have known it." - Brilliant!

Hemingway would be proud
I have so much love for this song, as I do for a vast number of Rush songs. This one hits differently, and it warms my heart!

Good let the bell toll ....on to the next

This video is incredible - such a great representation of this song! Fantastic job on this. Thank you!
Welcome!
It's about Martha Graham, the choreographer and Ernest Hemingway, the writer
They only played this at the very end of their career live. I wish they would have played this on the Clock Work Angels tour.
Beautiful. Thank you
Thank you too for the comment
What a beautiful video to such an incredible piece.
Thank you.
Muziek en beelden zijn knap gemonteerd. Past goed bij elkaar. Rush en fans mogen hier blij mee zijn. Ik heb het nu op de PC beter bekeken.
Dankjewel!
Nice video. I always loved this song and hearing it with this imagery really illustrates the diversity of what can be achieved in Rock music.
Very apt video for a classic that does not have a music video, Tx for creating and posting
You're welcome. Thank you.

"RUSH - LOSING IT"
I thought this was going to be the three of them just screaming in a room.
Я полюбил Rush с этой песни
Is it official video?
No, I made it. "Video compilation Beerz Alternative Rock 2021"
@@BeerzAlternativeRockz It's a great video. Rush would be proud. Thanks.
@@unready1961 Although you're not ready I thank you anyway. ;)

@@unready1961 Don't know. You named yourself unready1961.
This doesn't even sound at all like the same band that recorded Moving Pictures. I like THAT Rush.
