A Girl that can not present themselves with beauty is a shame to her community, race and nation !

Word of the day
I loved this video! Thank you for the casual look as well, no need to get all dolled up to show us hair tips. I enjoyed your straight to the point delivery style without the annoying dancing and facial gestures that other youtubers do.
I love that you didn't apologize for not wearing makeup 👍you are beautiful just the way you are. Makeup is over rated lol. I thank you for this video because I am now wearing my twist long term so thank you for this!
I loved how you specified how to do a proper scalp "massage". I have fine strands with a medium to thick density so it is very difficult to massage my scalp without getting a million knots. The fine strands just knot up so easy! I will try it your way... thank you!
Ah! If that is the case please try massaging on stretched hair. Your hair shouldn't be moving so much during the massage - you ought to move your scalp instead.
Great videos! You got a new subbie :-)
Hey Chrissie! Love your videos. Fancy seeing you here lol.
Chrissie omg hi Chrissie! Fancy seeing you here haha, I love when great UA-camrs link up :)
Chrissie hey 👋
i love the scalp stimulating technique .. i've always thought rubbing your scalp is bad since it add fiction to the hair but you thought me how its done. now i am motivated to do my scalp care. thanks
I know right! Been doing it wrong the whole time, I'm actually massaging my scalp now and it's so calming
Yes! My hair is really coily so my ends matte really easily and results in single strand knots etc then I end up having to snip it off! Great tips.
Thank you for your comment! Keeping up to date with moisturising and oiling your ends should prevent this!
Happy to help!

when i first went natural it was all about the perfect puff and curl . i love how the focus has become more health and protective not wearing it out and making our hair be something its not. my goal is to be able to rock some mean twist for a week at a time.
Your channel change how I do my hair and finally I feel like I found something that works, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, it has truly transformed my hair routine and texture, can't thank you enough, you are absolutely adorable and so smart, it's awesome, keep up the great work
Mecca Morris aw!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to tell me this! I appreciate you and am thrilled to hear about your positive results!
X
Oh my goodness. This is literally the exact thing I have been doing with my hair for the past 6 months. Really glad to see this video!
Although, I wear wigs I keep my natural hair in twists. Thanks a bunch for this routine. I had my own regimen but this is so much better. 👍🏾 plait then twist. Thank you for sharing.
Hey! Thank you! Wearing wigs over twists is such a great idea! I also do that because it means you don't HAVE to wear the wig every day. You can easily take it off and rock your wearable twists. The twists also keep your hair small under the wig! Keep it up!
X
The braids you do for bed are actually really cute! Love your videos! Your hair tips are helpful and looking at your gorg hair is so motivating.
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that you enjoy my content! It's a pleasure to make it
Very informative and interesting video. As a fellow brit living in the Us, it is very refreshing to hear that accent. Thank you!
Ah great! Thanks!
Where in the States do you live and how come you moved there?
My pleasure!
LOVe this video! I plan on keeping my hair twisted on and off this winter and have been loving it so far! Blessings xox
Very educational great job- this coming from a cosmetologist for 16 years and a person that's been natural for 7 years. Appreciate what you've said because it is accurate and informative👍👍👍
Wow, thank you!
Very informative. I will try the castor oil on my ends.
You look great! And I love twist I wear them at least two weeks out of the month especially in the summer.
Thank you! Aren't they convenient?! Love them too! X
Hi! You're so sweet. And your hair is beautiful. So glad I subbed today!!
Thank you Anna!
yeah, what we talked about before in your last video back, you're living in twist. I am too ^^!!! I love them they look beautiful on you ♡♡♡ I am wearing twist now. It's been almost three weeks. I've just refreshed mine yesterday ^^
Hi! Yes, I am. They're just irresistibly convenient. I'll have another video up soon on how I wash them - stay tuned! I'll probably take the twists out in 2 weeks. X
The updo was cute!
Thank you!
Super informative - thanks for sharing! I'm guess 2017 will be the year of mini twists and/or braids for me!!! #journeytowaistlength2017
Michelle Ijeoma how’s your hair doing??!

Yay! Happy to hear that! X
Excellent video breakdown. Impressive girl
Brilliant video, u killin em! From London with luv!!!
Aw thank you! That means a lot! X
Woah your hair is amazing.
I love your videos. You explain and demonstrate every tip very clearly. Thank you for taking the time to show us how to keep a twist hairstyle fresh between washes. You always look fantastic with such lovely hair. I find mine gets dry and other times it stays moisturized for several days but i forget what I did to keep it that way! I think I need to simplify how many layers or products I put on my hair! Do you know what porosity hair you have?
omg! your hair is so beautiful!!!
Love your videos. I'm wearing twist right now and found your tips very helpful. Do more twists videos. e.g. how to wash them.
Coming up next week! Happy to help! Rock your twists, girl! X
thusly.. i love ur accent
Beautiful hair and beautiful skin
Very Very Helpful fellow natural! 🙋
Beautiful skin ....♥♥
You and your hair are beautiful, one love!
great video - beautiful hair! Just a side note, you fingernails are BEAUTIFUL just the way they are. You have pretty hands and your nails are natural and healthy looking. I've always admired them
Thank you Dear! I really appreciate your comment and support!
X
i have bone strait hair, but i love watching your videos.
Thanks for that Naturally High, as present I have my hair in large plaits, and I daily rinse and I refresh my plaits every two days. So I undo my plaits, spray, oil and re-plait again. Very good tip castor on the ends.
Sounds optimal! Do you need to refresh that often?
To be honest, I was getting fed up, because of my hair getting very fuzzy, even though I was rinsing with a stocking cap to avoid it getting fuzzy and however, I have started just spritz daily, without refreshing them.
great video! thanks!
Great routine!
I love your channel, your so bubbly & beautiful
You look lovely without makeup. Braiding twists at the roots is a great idea. You do your hair quite quickly. My hair is much shorter than yours and it takes me longer than five minutes to do a section that size. I want to try this though and see if mine will last. How often do you wash your hair when you wear it in twists? I have to wash my hair every three days for my scalp issue.
Aw thank you! I like to cleanse my scalp at least once a week (during the summer) while my hair is in twists. I'll have a new video up this evening on exactly how I do this! X
Wow! thank you!
Love this video!
Aw! That's good to hear! Thank you!
Great video!
That necklace is gorgeous! Where did you find it?
Great video
Thaaaaank you!
my hair is in mini twists anytime I moisturise my hair especially the ends I see small pieces of hair how do I prevent that?
Your hair is likely dry! You need to take steps to keep it moisturised. I suggest you deep condition more frequently. If that doesn't help, try using a protein treatment, which should repair the structure of your hair, helping it to retain moisture.
+Naturally High thanks 😊😊😊😊
Thank You for your videos. Your hair is so healthy. How often do you trim your ends?
Aw, my pleasure! I tend to use the search-and-destroy method whenever I'm styling it.
hi! love ur vids & looking forward to seeing a lot more..just had to sub.
+Trisha G. Thank you! More videos after my midterms. X
I live in Mississippi, been here nearly 14 years! Missing home. My ex hubby is a professor here. Now married to an american.
What's it like there? I've heard a lot about racial tension in those parts. I guess you meant to comment this on my random facts video. Thanks for sharing anyway :D
I really like being here, but yes its seems to be getting worse which is a little scary.
Sending you lots of love and support!
Oh,thank you very much I was worried about massaging my scalp this week not being strong enough to to take it down to retwist my hair is so short...
+Eliza Penutbutter happy to help! It'll get easier as your hair grows longer so protect those ends! X
+Naturally High ok,I"m washing it tomorrow Lordbless it's been a week since it's been cleaned,do a hot oil treatment too, you"re a blessing stay beautiful...
Hi hon I love your video, where did you get your products I would like to try them.
Hey you said you spend a lot of your time in the lab, May I ask, what you do?
I've been on a research project in the molecular microbiology field as part of my master's. My master's programme is called molecular and cellular life sciences. X
Naturally High cool. I did Biomedical science at Bsc. I am a clinical research practitioner now. How did you decide you wanted to remain in the hard science? I know this question has nothing to do with your Chanel, am just curious and working my own decisions out
I love you accent. i enjoy your video always so interesting. i notice you use up your vocabulary good. love the hair so thick. Are you 4b or c
Aw thanks! I'm glad you find my routine interesting :D Thanks for the support! X
4b/4c :)
I"v just finished doing,A Scalp massage without moving my hair by placing my palms on my head using motions,my hair tightens up every three days causing me to redue my style twice each week not anymore my scalp feels loose without upsetting it's due...
Great info thanks
My pleasure!
Thanks this video is very informative. Do you twist your twists all the way to the ends?
Thank you! Yes I try to! X
Just subbed. I can't believe I'm just now running across your channel. Love your personality and hope to get to your hair one day. #4cNaturals
Yay! Welcome to the Naturally High cloud! Thank you! With patience and tender care, you can reach your goals! Sending you love and hugs! #4cnaturals
Thank you so much for representing us dark skin 4c naturals. I want to start a channel, I'm afraid of the hate I will have to deal with.
your accent is pretty :)
I hope this helps with the single strand knots I keep getting (ARGH! I've lost at least 3 inches this year because of them).
It should do but you have to be consistent! Have you seen this video? ua-cam.com/video/ZulXAotxDB0/v-deo.html
Yep I have. Consistency is probably my issue to be honest because my ends never look like yours unless my hair was just washed.
Monique Thomas have you managed to get into a more consistent habit since we last spoke?
Thank you so much for the video, please do you oil your scalp? if so with what?. God bless, love your hair by the way
Hi! No, I never oil my scalp. X
Thank you
Do you ever plait your hair of your only don't he twists as your only hair style for hair growth
How often do you do that throughout the week? The month?
Ideally, once or twice a week.
So what about your scalp? What do you do to keep it from getting dry in between washes?
Monique Thomas I don’t oil or grease it but I do occasionally spritz it with a water + ACV mix or use my dry shampoo to cleanse.
can you do a video about how to take care of 4c hair as a swimmer.
I believe there is a product you can buy to protect your hair while swimming. I watched some synchronized swimming vids and they coat their hair before putting the cap on. unfortunately I'm not a swimmer. : -( i need to fix that.
+lumiesgotcha Thanks! It's never too late to learn.
Check Discoverynatural and blakizbeautiful
+dmj Wow. I found a lot of videos, thanks.
I'm glad you found something! I can do a video on how to prepare hair for swimming.
Hello, great videos! Subscribed a long time ago! Quick question. When you refresh a section of your hair, do you only do that when you leave all your twists in longer than two weeks? Meaning your wash day might be fewer than twice a month and therefore you are doing what you need to do to keep all your twists fresh. And finally Just to clarify, you start refreshing after two weeks? Thank you for your time.
+NewBlueTrue hey, I refresh sections between1-2 weeks old. I still use this technique weekly if I'm going to the gym: ua-cam.com/video/bL8C9YfO_YM/v-deo.html
Thank you!
you are so cute and I love your accent ❤️
Where is that necklace from?
I used to work in a bank. One day, a customer came in, took one look at me and exclaimed 'I have jewellery for you!' She came back a few days later with a few pieces she got in Ghana! This is one of them!
How often do you wash your hair?
If it's in twists, 1-2 times per week with dry shampoo (in the summer, in light of the warmth and my workout routine) and once a fortnight with clay or regular shampoo.
Thanks for responding!
Can I apply castor oil on my low porosity hair? Thanks for the tips
Why wouldn't you? If your ends don't bunch up and knot they may not need it. If they do, try it and see. X
+Naturally High thanks hun 😘
You are beautiful!
I frequently twist my hair as a protective style. I have noticed my hair retain has really improved and I'm noticing longer tresses. However, I am also noticing that my hair seems to be thinning as well. Is anyone else having this issue? Is this normal?
S Gayles have you found a solution to the thinning am also experiencing the same and as such i have had to do some serious trimming.
Princess Almira, someone suggested heavy protein treatments when I wash. I was doing them sporadically but now have been doing them every wash day. I wash once every 4 weeks. It doesn't look any thinner. I'm going to keep doing them to see if my hair thickens.
do you wash the twists before redoing again
No but I do cleanse my twists, focusing on my scalp during the week. I'll have a video on that next week. When I wash all my hair I loosen all twists first and detangle them. X
Update! Yes, I do - new video coming up soon!
What university do you attend?
Loydi Llu I was attending Utrecht University at the time of filming.
Please do not take what I am about to say as a criticism. I am a subscriber to your channel. You ask for feedback so what I am about to state is out of love and support for you. Because your channel is growing and adding new subscribers everyday. Your NAILs should always be on point and manicured. People notice your hands because you use them to demonstrate your beautiful hair so you may want to have a manicure every other week. It is a tax right off because you are using it for your channel.
Hey! Thanks for your feedback. I'd love to have manicured nails but I work a lot with my hands (in a molecular microbiology lab) so the paint would chip quickly. I've also noticed that my nails thrive when natural but wear down when painted, especially if I do Shellac. Again, I appreciate your feedback and I do hope my natural nails aren't too distracting.
X
As soon as you said that you worked in a Molecular Microbiology lab, you made me a life time subscriber of yours. Never mind the nails. CONGRATULATIONS for make us look good and making us proud of your accomplishments. I better just shut my mouth and listen to your preach. Love you!!!!
Aw thanks! That's very sweet of you! New video this evening. :)
X
never mind the nails, this is the best video ever! certain cultures are way too shallow and superficial
Very good video!
