- Today’s video is all about debunking Dubai's top misconceptions!! I've lived in the UAE for half my life, and I must say I've heard it all - from not being able to hold hands to EVERYONE having a sports car!! 😲
Most importantly though, Dubai is a fascinating city where there is so much to do, learn and discover!✨

Can you speak about the foreign workers that suffer from the labour they endure to make Dubai beautiful? You have a platform to speak about this as people are not aware of their living conditions and it isn’t fair.
can you also talk about the Mexican and other latino workers that suffer the same in the USA.... can you also talk about Polish people in the UK... the "untouchables" in India (where you come from) who are left to die on the streets... actually since we're talking about India... can we talk about the gang rape culture you have there that is so bad they have to put anti-rape ads on tv... then lets also talk about the killing of entire villages of Muslims by the BJP??? you want to point fingers... let see how it goes... at least in Dubai the workers have rights, if they complain the law protects them... who stops them from complaining??? INDIANS that brought them into the country in the first place... also, the law has off-times for harsh sun hours in summer... who makes them work to save a lot of money??? INDIANS that brought them into the country... they get salaries that are 10-20x what they earn in India because of our laws... so next time you want to open your mouth and point fingers I suggest that you zip it and go fix your crappy dirty disgusting country and your attitude... and when your country is fair, safe, perfect and clean... come to ours and point fingers... we have given millions of indians jobs here... jobs they can never get in their country, and a fair portion of them never say thank you... they talk crap about the country that gave them an opportunity... you can sleep here in safety not fearing for your life... you cant do the same in your country... so zip it and fix your country first. kthxbye
@@rockroyaltymc there are problems everywhere. No one is denying that. The fact that you assume I am speaking from an Indian country is amusing. Do I have to be Indian to show them support? You are part of the problem. I am British born Muslim female person who does not have a platform like hers. If I did these issues would be discussed and raised. I am speaking to her directly not you. She is speaking of Dubai and how amazing it is but it’s all artificial when you see the labour these people have to endure. This has nothing to do with religion otherwise I would be turning a blind eye to Indian people. There are people from all countries that enter Dubai for a better life only to be controlled by some of their owners and stories of them getting away. I have also seen documentaries of the living conditions they endured when covid hit and having to have many of them crammed in a room and locked up like animals so it didn’t spread and not getting the medical attention they need. It’s not right and as a Muslim I will stick up for any injustice. I have also been to Dubai and yes it’s beautiful from what you want to see. Again there is so much going on around the world and if she or you or anyone makes a video let’s have an open discussion. Let’s stick to what the video is about. Thanks now you can go about your day.

There's no slavery in Dubai. Those workers choose to send most of their salary to their families in their home country so they won't die, that's why they have to share rooms and save as much as possible. Dubai is helping them save their families.

Thank you for this video, my brother is a real estate manager in a petrol company here in Algeria and he was promised to be promoted a year from now to work in Dubai, but he's so hesitant to take his family and go there although we kept encouraging him. I think it's a nice place to live in .

Great video Mona! It’s an incredible city and I love to return all the time. Most definitely the safest city in the entire world, you can walk out to grab food at 3am and even a fly wont bother you. Huge misconception that dubai is very strict in terms of dress codes but it’s actually so accepting to everything respectful.

I lived there for 3 years. Of course I had fun but also it is the most racist place on earth. I love Mona but when she landed in Dubai she was an Arabic speaking "American". Life is not the same for everyone in Dubai. Really depends on your passport, who you know and how much money you have. Also Dubai is one of the most unsustainable cities on Earth. Read about it.

i think you shouldn’t base your opinion on things you hear, not everything you hear is true. I’m an emirati and i totally do not agree with this. We were raised to be nice to everyone and respect others not only by our parents but by Sheikh Zayed and all the Sheikhs. Trust me if what you’re hearing is true we wouldn’t have any foreign workers here.

I've been to Dubai twice and it has turned into my favourite destination. Every misconception I had was wiped clean. You give respect, you get respect...at least that's what I experienced. I was also fascinated on all the different cultures I experienced. And its the safest place ever!
yes its a diverse city, a lot of tourists are very respectful of the culture, but unfortunately some tourists insist on not showing any respect. sad.

Omg I remember I went to Dubai from the UK during August in 2017 and my initial feeling as I walked out from the airport was 😳 the air was sooo warm I thought it was a blow dryer up in my face. Also I didn’t think there was clubs and people were more conservative but noo Dubai is more diverse, Abu Dhabi was more conservative. I think Dubai is calling me that Kunafa with Karak ❣️😍❣️🤩

The 2021 stock market has been wired and proven difficult making it more or less an option to invest.
