At the beginning I was thinking, "Oh, this is cool! Doesn't sound too hard, I bet I could learn this..." and then he got to the middle of the song and I started grinning like a maniac Rock on, dude
Phenomenal! Excellent fingering, bowing, and pizzicato. Great tone and harmonics as well. Nice interpretation of the original rock song. Glad he kept it in the classical genre. Very well done!!!!
The arrangement's by Adam DeGraff... go to adamviolin(dot)com and prepare to be amazed. I learned it by ear off his album, but you can get the sheet music at his website.
First minute I was like "eh" .... but then he really took off and by the last minute I was bopping my head, sitting on the edge of my seat. Fantastic performance. Loved it.
Incredible stuff, solo violin impresses me so much. It's really hard to play a violin by itself and make it sound good without accompaniment. Great work
man, i thought i could play stairway on the piano pretty good but that was insane. especially the buildup midway. the awesome guitar/violin section before "And as we wind on down the road... " bow de bow de bow de bow bow now ... I didnt think you could play a violin like an electric guitar but i guess you can. best violin solo ever.
+109367 Yeah, the more he played the more excited I became because you know every note of that song and you keep thing "Is he going to nail that part!"
That is the most amazing thing I have ever seen. Thank you so much for putting this up on youtube, you have an amazing amount of talent and in 10 years I better be anticipating you touring to my town. Keep it up!
ok, just bought Adam's sheet, it's nice, little different from this version (just using lower octaves than here, but you can mix and change when you play). It's not to difficult, it needs couple of hours - but i've finished academy, so it's intermediate-high level for begginers. cheers, it's really fun though!
I'm learning this song right now- I just got the music from Adam earlier this month! I just wanted to let you know that I'm listening to both your recording as well as his to get the "feel" of it. Congratulations on the good work and all your other videos! I will post my version when I have it memorized :)
Man, Peter! You rocked it! Thanks for sharing the source: Adam DeGraff.....he has cool stuff on his site, but not the music for Stairway to Heaven. Dang. I'll keep looking. But GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, you rock! Wonder if you've ever thought about going to rock orchestra camp? We'd love to have you there next summer - with over a hundred other kids who love to rock like you do! =)

Rock on, dude

I rewatched the solo at least 5 times. Stupefacente!
Young... and already one of the most outstanding violinists I've heard. Passion, melding, truly a musician to follow in the future.
I've listened to this about 100 times honestly
Incredible stuff, solo violin impresses me so much. It's really hard to play a violin by itself and make it sound good without accompaniment. Great work

Congratulations! I am a beginner and you inspired me a lot to play rock n'roll with violin.
As a fellow fiddle player, this was badass and I don't say that lightly
