Great video. Sounds like many high profile jobs so to speak, your personal assessment test and interview are the biggest things to focus on, passing those two are Huge in my opinion. Your personal assessment test pretty much gives a round about way of who you are, and your actual physical interview will tell the interviewers if you lied on your assessment test. Believe it or not, those interviewers are trained to ask questions in a manner like a detective would ask, they'll ask the same question but in 3, 4, or 5 different ways to try to throw you for a loop. Thanks for sharing your video. Good luck, I hope all works out for you. Kind regards Eric Dee

Hi Richard, thanks for this video, I took the Postal Exam Test a few days ago and passed with an 82. What you said about the exam was really true, the memory part of the test was actually easy, I actually was more worried about that part of the exam but I did good. Now does anyone know if an 82 is good score to get an interview and eventually getting hired by post office? I live in Miami Florida area. Thanks to all.
82 is a pretty good score. Did you study for the test? Test score can be an important tiebreaker and it ended up being huge for me, because there was a girl in my office with the same hire date but a lower test score. So I outbid her a couple of times after we made reg. Then again, when you make reg you may be the only one left with your hire date, so your test score won't mean anything. There's no way to know in advance. The test doesn't really help you in your postal career anyway.
jeffw1267 Hey Jeff, thanks. Yes, I did studied for the exam about a week before, which I took this past Wednesday. I watched few UA-cam videos like this video and then practiced the address checking, forms completion, coding and memory. I also followed the strategies and tips on how to answer each sections of the exam. Like with address checking, I first read the zip code and then the address to see if zip code or address or both had the errors or no errors. When I took the exam the only section I actually got confused with was the forms completion. The some of the questions wasn’t like the practice exam I took and scored high with. I think that section I got some wrong and I also didn’t get the chance to answer 4 or 5 questions. Also I think the assessment test I took first also factored my score. Thanks for letting me know that my score is good for the post office process, I hope to get an update soon from the USPS. I understand it is a long process to hopefully get the job. So Jeff how is the job, the management, etc? I am going for the CCA or City Carrier Assistant 1.
