Thank you very much for your nice comment, dear Fred.
I often think that the key to a deeper state of consciousness lies in bringing together opposites, such as electronic and naturalistic sounds, and to see what energy comes out of this approach. But then again: are the initially assumed opposites then really still opposites when viewed from this different state? Nope, something new has emerged that unites all opposites. I wouldn't elevate this insight to a definitive wisdom, but in life as in art, it is so important to keep approaching each other despite all the contradictions and reservations about the other and to create something new in this way. Btw, this insight helps me personally a lot in my search for what Buddhists, for example, mean when they talk about the unity or oneness of everything.
In any case, I am grateful to Larry for being such an excellent partner in this music piece. Without his beautiful and sensitive flute playing, this recording would have been hollow and empty.
      Yours, Markus

Bonsoir Markus.

A cosmic journey among the stars: sound reflections inspired by the universe.
Listening to this electronic music track, the result of the collaboration between two talented musicians, I feel transported on a cosmic journey among the stars. The ethereal sounds of the synthesizers, like an expanse of luminescent nebulae, create an atmosphere of vastness and mystery, while the delicate notes of the flute, like flashes of distant stars, add a touch of emotion and humanity to this cosmic panorama.
The sinuous and enveloping melodies of the synthesizers invite us to travel with our minds towards the depths of the universe, to contemplate the immensity of space and the wonder of creation. The flute, with its warm and vibrant voice, brings us back to Earth, reminds us of our small dimension in the face of the universe and invites us to reflect on the place we occupy in the cosmos.
    Amazing work guys!!!

Dear Marcus, thank you very much for your wonderful comment.
When you listen to the music, you see a person, maybe yourself, gazing longingly into the depths of space on a dark night, whereby this eerily luminous constellation of the Pleiades is seen by many peoples as a gateway to another world. Thank you so much for this great picture. I hear this music in a completely different way now!

You guys work so well together. It is almost like you share the same thought processes using telepathy so know what will work together best.

    • @MarkusGrandpre
      @MarkusGrandpre  6 місяців тому +1

Dear Colin, I'm afraid I'm going to have to disappoint you: It is not telepathy, because we are playing not together the same time, which is a real pity. Larry is a very sensitive flute player and he invents electronic music, too. This way he has the right feeling for my music. And of course he likes my music and gives his best, I guess. That's the whole secret.
The whole secret? Certainly not... 🙂
      Yours, Markus

I am a subscriber to Larry's channel already, I subbed after an earlier collab of yours. He is definitely very talented. Do you create a track and he adds to it, or does he create the flute layer and you create a bed for it to lay in?

Thank you Jorge for your comment.
Yes, maybe this piece is less narrative, but in general I don't think that my music is that much narrative. I consider my music more like descriptions of inner and outer states.
