I’m on a 5 now, I’m running out of water. How long should the water last?

Can automatic not be enough? I've had it on auto but since the heat is on for winter, I'm getting up with bloody nose every morning.

Are you filling the water chamber? If not, that is probably why you are getting a bloody nose as there is no humidity control at all on your cpap.

If i turn off the humidity (like when i am on an airplane), do i still keep the water container attached even if it isn't using the water? It seems like the air is still blowing on the side of the unit even if i turn off the humidity. please advise

You can take the humidifier out. At the moment I have my unit without one so I think that means that if you are not using it, you can take it ou.
I think you should let it dry completely when you store it and I think leaving it with water without being used, would be an health hazard as you could get mould or salmonella.... But that's just my guess.

HI Chris, nice job. I often wondered ( I HAVE A RESMED AIR SENSE 10) how many WATTS does it use with the humidifier turned off. I CAMP A LOT.

Lol. Good question. Don’t you love it when they don’t bother responding but want you to subscribe? (Rhetorical question)

@@jsstar76 I agree, but I bought a power station and when I was inhaling, I could see how many watts I was drawing (5 to 7 watts) but your right, these you tubers sometimes don't like to reply.

This works with all tubing or I need special tubing? I have had machine awhile and horrible memory due to illness.

You need the water chamber as a starter. Then you need the heated tube to assist with not created lose heat while it travels on through the tube and build up condensation as a result. Just imagine the tube being your bathroom with a hot shower, what happens to the your mirror? That is what going on if you don't have a heated tube.

humidity is hot, not wet? not humid , i don't get it , low no moisture high, like a camels toe in my mouth?? help please can anyone relate , we need moisture not heat1 x

It is moisture. You have a water chamber which the cpap heats up the water and turn it to warm water vapor = humidity. The heated tube also keep the heat constant while the air gets to you or it will end up cooling down and turns into condensations in the tube and less effective when you get the air.
