One of the only fragrance channels I’ve watched that prioritizes informing the viewer over trying to push them to buy something, serving as an unbiased source that’s honestly refreshing to see in this category. Keep pushing out videos and I’ll keep watching them
Can you give me suggestions? I'm 70 I only go to breakfast. Lunch dates with my daughter and wife and medical visits what do you suggest for me ? I really would appreciate your opinion !!!!!!! Thanks.
Just wanted to say after watching and following many fragrance channels, I enjoy yours thoroughly for not only your wit and insight, but how your videos do not often exceed 10 minutes. Informative, insightful, and not a chore to watch.
Toy boy grew on me. At first i hated it but when I sprayed it on myself for the first time I loved it. The top spicy rosy pink pepper is beautifully done and and draws tou in. Then that middle rose is what threw me off as being too feminine but theres also a musk that scent that makes it very masculine. Women LOVE it!
I have Versace Dylan Blue and I actually think it's not for the youth. I would say something like Chrome Azzaro is more for like high schoolers. Dylan blue smells very mature, more for business wear in my opinion.
You’re quite different in reviewing fragrances, also i am amazed on how you work on the detailing on lights while phasing into different weathers. Just subscribed you while watching the video. Keep sharing such fantastic content with awesome quality of video and presentation.
Everyone says the Toy Boy bottle is weird. It's one of my absolutely favorite things about it. Really excited to get it in next week, alongside dior homme 2020
Most Creeds don't last long, especially when you're paying top for a fragrance that have numerous clones that perform much better for a fraction of the price. Mancera Instant Crush is a fragrance I would over and over. Smells amazing and performs great!
Fragrances I bought that I wouldn't repurchase: Zadig & Voltaire - This is him. Fragrances that I like but don't love (so basically wouldn't have to buy again): D&G - The One, Black Orchid, LV - L´himmensite, TF - Noir extreme, Dior Homme Intense Fragrances I would buy again: Christian Dior - Ambre Nuit, Guerlain - Tonka Imperial, Armani - Stronger with you, Maison Margiella - Jazzclub, D&G - Light blue eau intense, Baccarat Rouge 540 extrait, PDM - Layton, TF - Plum Japonais, TF - Lost Cherry. Thats an exaggerated answer to your question :D
In my opinion Dunhill icon is a good scent, I get decent performance, gets me through the work day. Not a compliment magnet but those with a trained nose will appreciate it.
DHI and Explorer are my favorites and I will repurchase them soon again. I won't repurchase any other. I enjoy trying new fragrances and as long as I have my 2 favorites I don't mind running out of juice on the others. I try not to be to greedy. If it's discontinued or reformulated then we move on. And look for a new favourite fragrance.
Mid 40's here. Bought both the Dylan Blue and Eros. Dylan Blue is great. Has a nice crisp clean smell to it. Couldn't get down with the Eros though. Gives off a cheap aftershave vibe. Bad batch maybe?
Hi Omar, First off - thank you for your videos. I have blind bought a few perfumes recently based on your recommendations and have been very impressed. Mont Blanc individuel, Davidoff cool water both as gifts were very well received and I asked for Burberry Touch which Santa brought me and I love it, So thank you again. Secondly, if I promise to buy Light Blue intense will you stop talking about it? 😂
Hey dude, thanks for watching I'm stoked that you've enjoyed the recommendations! Haha I can't make any promises but perhaps its time to talk about other scents 😏
I used to buy the Versace pour home (one of my all time favorites ) until I smelled light blue intense and now it’s replacing it in my collection, he’s not lying you need light blue intense in your life 😂
I love your picks! Although I think sometimes your a bit strict on age ranges, for example I’m 25 and still in school, and lol wear both TdH and Dylan blue to class! I respect your guidelines though great vid!
Fairly agreeable. I didn’t repurchase Dylan Blue, Millesime Imperial and am not going to have another Icon bottle after using up the present one. My personal choice to be kept might be-Versace PH, TDH Intense Vetiver, Light Blue Forever, which seem quite close to your list.
Have repurchased Chanel Allure Homme Sport, Mancera Cedrat Boise and PDM Layton. Out of a 130 + bottles and dozens of decants. Thanks for the content. Be safe.
Well done ;) I had the same problem as you have about the Creed MI but I layered it with Molecule 01 ( ratio 1:1 in a decant bottle leaving for a couple of minutes) so I could get a longevity of 6-7 hrs and project 1-2 hrs, it might work for you as well
I own most of these and agree with your thoughts 100% about the quality, type and usability, gonna pickup La Nuit parfum one day based on your recommendation. Thanks 👍
Yes on the Dylan Blue. Will not purchase again. Age is not a problem for me and I'm older than you. It smells WAY better on paper. The initial nice top notes fade quickly. The middle is a weak soapy but it does finish with some nice sweetness. Eros beats it on skin. Dylan wins on the street when doing paper tests. Yes FLAME is the best of the 3!
The most unique fragrance I have that I would keep forever is Gucci Pour Homme 1976. It fits the office; it fits a date night encounter; it fits spring/summer and it might fit clubbing. Plus, I've received tons of compliments from the opposite sex. I would wear it with earth color outfits more than black or blue. It's especially good with everything from off-white to dark brown, or green. It's great with tweed. I can't recommend it enough.
a lot of people say that for me (teenager) i need to develop a 'signature scent' what does that mean, how can i do it, should i have multiple scents or just 1 'signature', and what are some good examples?
A good example is literally any cologne it’s just a cologne people recognize u by. A few good ones are ADG Profumo , Ysl Y , Versace blue jeans as a cheapie
I totally agree with your view on Dylan Blue. I’m 35 and feel like it’s just too much of a younger guys scent. Smells nice but just doesn’t really fit my personality.
The creed in the gold bottle you talked about. I think the clone from armaff is very strong in projection. Even stronger than Club de nuit. I wore both of them in different arm and only could have smelled the cdn when I put my arm close to my nose.
Hi Omar! Fragances that Im not repurchase, Dior Sauvage, PR One million, PR Invictus, JPG Le Male. Fragances that i have to buy again, Dior Homme, Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, Dunhill Icon, Montblanc Explorer, Individuel and Spirit, Terre d Hermes, JPG le Male le parfum. I have to agree with your choices. Your channel its a great discovery for me. Have a great 2021! Regards.
@Mark Jones, JPG le Male le parfum have a great performance in my experience, Not as much but overall a good performance at least on me. Versace Eros the original its EDT, concentration, in 2020, came out the EDP version. In Omar vídeo its the original one the edt. In my opinion iff you are young and you want a great fragance for clubbing or get compliments the original Edt its still a good fragance. Have a great Day. 👍

Light Blue Eau Intense is GREAT! Don't smell on paper. Very disappointing on paper. Also the initial sprays of their fragrance were bad. Not anymore. It smells amazing on skin.
Nice video! I would repurchase Loewe 001 and definitely wouldn't D&G the One EDP, smells incredible, but has the worst performance (at least on my skin) that I have ever seen. I've got after shave lotions with better duration. You should check the spanish brand Loewe, my favourites are 001, 7 and Solo Cedro, but all are great and the performance also.

My favourite fragrance right now is Penhaligon’s Agarwood It’s a unique, creamy, spicy Middle Eastern style fragrance, and on my skin I always get 12+ hours longevity, the greatest thing about it is that its sillage isn’t massive, it’s not offensive, but it’s unique and beautiful. What a masterpiece.
I'm yet to try this but heard great things! You described it beautifully! What others from the brand do you recommend? I really like Sartorial, Mr Harrod and Halfeti!
@@SchoolOfScentI love sartorial and halfeti too! But my top recommendations would probably be The Tragedy Of Lord George, which is a fougere style scent but mixed with clean woods and a bit of Oud. Changing Constance is another great one, it’s a gourmand focusing around the note of Salted Caramel, with a few odd spices laying around too. The Uncompromising Sohan is an Oud centric fragrance, which has beast mode performance and is very shouty. My last recommendation would probably have to be Endymion, which is a rather relaxing scent, one could call it a fougere with a note of coffee and a laid back, smooth approach to the genre. I could ramble on for days about Penhaligon’s as it is my favourite house, and they have so many brilliant fragrances to choose from, but I don’t want to encourage you to have your bank go in to overdraft from 1 brand, because you probably know that their fragrances aren’t the cheapest!

Hey Omar, So I wanna buy new fragrances and I was thinking of dylan blue as the versatile one, Mont blanc Individuel for school, D&G the one for dates, light blue for summer and Eros for parties is that good, is there something I should change?
I tried Creed's MI back in 2010 and I thought the performance sucked and I was not a fan of that salty smell. Tried it again years later and performance still sucks. I'll never buy.
It's a year later, but I'll take a shot at your end of vid question. Wouldn't buy again: L'Eau Bleue d'Issey Pour Homme. Blind buy and can't get past the opening blast, kind of a sick to my stomach reaction. Buy again: Prada L'Homme, can't imagine living without it.
I am trying to not buy any more fragrances. Watching your channel is making it a bit difficult. I just purchased Toy Boy and Light Blue Intense just because you said you think they are sexy. That sold me.
One fragrance to repurchase that gets lots of play but totally wear it very often in the mild warmer months is a total cheapie But Bannana republic linen vetiver of the 300+ bottles I own it's one of several I've repurchased
another quick question, do you recommend buying fragrances of of Amazon? I’m afraid they’ll be clones or something bc of the price diff between Amazon and a physical place
Online is generally cheaper than stores as they save costs in certain ways, from Amazon just make sure the seller has a high feedback rating (I personally go 90%+)
It is more of a casual wear scent to me, potentially being worn for uni or work when light on the trigger, I think it would be too much for school, and you have to really enjoy leather before you buy it.
I am 71 years old and I love using Versace Dylan Blue

Love the scent a lot but the performance isn’t there :( but still, I’d like a 200ml bottle. Lol
for spring/summer could Profundo be added to the list ? what are some thoughts
I have milestone it's an amazing clone of mi with better performance and cheap to buy
Age is just a number, wear what you enjoy!
You are an inspiration for me to start a UA-cam Channel of my own.
Thank You for inspiring.
Great, go for it! 😁
I'm on the fence with Dunhill icon ... It smells wonderful but does not perform well on my skin either
I am trying to not buy any more fragrances. Watching your channel is making it a bit difficult. I just purchased Toy Boy and Light Blue Intense just because you said you think they are sexy. That sold me.
Hey man! Nice video, could you do the same version for women? Maybe something more affordable would be great!
One fragrance to repurchase that gets lots of play but totally wear it very often in the mild warmer months is a total cheapie But Bannana republic linen vetiver of the 300+ bottles I own it's one of several I've repurchased
Currently selling my Dylan Blue, sold my Light Blue and my Toy Boy is always gonna stay :>
another quick question, do you recommend buying fragrances of of Amazon? I’m afraid they’ll be clones or something bc of the price diff between Amazon and a physical place
Thanks btw 😏
Online is generally cheaper than stores as they save costs in certain ways, from Amazon just make sure the seller has a high feedback rating (I personally go 90%+)
@@SchoolOfScent ty so much, keep up the good work man
Another great vid, Omar. Hope you have a wonderful 2021 - thanks for the recommendations :)
Thank you Umar, glad you enjoyed it! You too happy new year!
is ombré leather a good school scent? and is it a blind buy?
No and no
It is more of a casual wear scent to me, potentially being worn for uni or work when light on the trigger, I think it would be too much for school, and you have to really enjoy leather before you buy it.
I'm in my mid 30s (and so is my gf) and Dylan Blue is her favorite frag on me.
I regret buying hawas. Not bad, but doesn’t suit on me and doesn’t stay that long in my skin particularly.
