Just bought my first “big boy” fragrance. And, of course, it’s Terre d’Hermes (edt). I don’t even care, I freaking love it. It’s lasts me all day and I really enjoy it from start to finish.
Not bad, glad to see Oud Wood, Aventus and Terre d'Hermes on this list, I have all three plus Terre d'Hermes is the one that really got me into fragrances.
Terre d Hermes is quite weak I actually got bored of the smell after a while I don't reach for it often. Dior homme intense isn't very versatile I can't think of many occasions to wear it although it's fantastic.
I have all full bottles in the list except for Dior Fahrenheit (used to own it, but it has been sold due to underutilised). I think DHI really deserved to be in no. 1 spot, masterpiece.
Idc how good smell creed is or not... 50 ml already cost 215 euro which i find insane and ridiculous for any parfume! Totaly not worth that much of money in my oppinion. Highest i go is 100 euro's for parfume.
uuh, great video idea. excellent video, cutting , audio, lighting, editing on point as always, enjoyed it a lot. Also the fact that you give your opinion on the aventus batch discussion or the "correct" Bleu versions. my pick would be indeed also DHI, as apparently for many others, since it was one of the first parfums i ever owned. in fact, recently i wore it again after many years and instantly got goosebumps HOW good it just is. a masterpiece. but close to that would be the Profumo, although Oud Minerale by Tom Ford is a very interesting aquatic alternative which is slightly more interesting in character .
Im shocked that Chanel Sport Eau Extrème ain't on there. got a quarter left so bought another bottle for back up. But speaking about this list, i was debating Dior Homme Intense the other day. you've just confirmed it for me 💙💪
Wow! three fragrances from the house of Cristian Dior in this top 10 list including the number #1 best of all time, Bravo Dior you guys have done a wonderful job with your fragrances. Kudos
I tried Dior Homme Intense in a shop. I was excited to test it after all the glowing reviews. Smelt it, and thought that smells like women's foundation / the inside of a handbag.... Couldn't believe how instantly turned off by it I was. Oud Wood or Terre d'Hermes would be my picks from this list.
Same experience that I had with DHI. Off putting on the initial to mid since I'm used to masculine leaning scents on the first test on the strip. Tried it again on the skin the second time and it grew on me and the dry down was addicting..a bit woody and cholatey to me.
Hey great video! I own quite a few of these and keep running into a problem. I'll wear a scent for a week, say Tobacco Oud, and then the next week I'll wear Dior Homme Parfum. The problem is that the scent will end up on the collar of a coat or jacket and they will mix to create a rather unappealing new scent. My motorcycle helmet smells the worst...almost like a department store where dozens of colognes are mixed together. Do you run into this problem? And what do you do to combat this? Thanks!
Fahrenheit dated? Good joke. I have I'd and I will always have this masterpiece. I also have/had all the flankers. Skipping all the summer one like versions (aqua, cologne , summer and 32), le Parfum is the worst one of them. I don't understand what you meant by more modern, but I suspect it was about adding gourmandy, sweet crappy notes to this. That's why I hate it. It's like taking original and dissolved with 32 which had vanilla plus adding some sweet buzzy note. Original is still the best and straight in the face, no compromise scent. And then we have Fahrenheit Absolute. I can't decide if it's better then original as this is completely different from the line, but it has all I love. Incense, oud and resin. It's dark, it's woody, heavy with smoky iris. What a shame it has been taken down. I would take it anytime for la perfume without blink of an eye. As for Oud Wood from TF. For me it's to complaisant. It's not bad boy scent contrary to what many folks say. I don't like oud like that. I rather Tobacco Oud from TF, but personally my favourite oud versions would be something like John Varvatos Oud. Of course quality of ingredients and blend is far from TF, but this is again more on heavy, dark and incense like oud. Another 2 would be from house from Guerlain "Les absolus d'orient oud essentiel" and "Les absolus d'orient santal royal ". I can understand this list but this should not be called best fragrances, bit rather most popular fragrances or most mass appealing fragrances. I own Fahrenheit, Terre D'Hermes and Dior Homme Parfum from the list.
The fact that Fahrenheit came out over 30 years ago and it´s still a top seller for Dior tells you just how ahead of its time this timeless masterpiece really was. I´m lucky enough to have owned several original1989 bottles before they started reformulating them. In my lifetime I must have smelled and owned over 1000 different fragrances anything from 20$ up to 700$. The only thing that I put at the same level as Fahrenheit is Gucci Intense Oud although they smell nothing alike. Oh and 10000% agree with you that this was more popular fragrance list rather than best fragrances.
@Doar Eu Yeah Fahrenheit is a must in my collection. I don't have 1989 one, but own 3 bottles from 92, 95 and 98. I also love Fahrenheit Absolute and it's a disgrace it has been discontinued. Some say it is church vibes but I totally love it. Myrrh, incense and oud. And off course violet. Yes Gucci Intense Oud is really good. When you spray it, you spray elegance and nobility. We are lucky we can still enjoy old formulated frags and know what really know what Fahrenheit really was.
Like your videos. You obviously know your stuff. I wonder if you ever came across a Roger and Gallet men's fragrance from the 80's. It was really good but no longer availale.
I love Dior homme intense but I think bleu de Chanel edp is even better. Just more my vibe. I think Profumo is better also. The Dior isn’t as wearable for me at work. Sad not to see Prada lhomme on the list
When we’d got to no.2 and Savauge hadn’t been mentioned I was dreading that would be in first place. I guess it’s gone the other way and it’s heavy advertising campaign has made it a victim of its own success amongst fragrance people!
I've got a fragrance called axis elegant man it smells just like savauge and it's just as long lasting it's only £10 shows how cheap Dior savauge ingredients are .
I guess this ends any debate of Dior vs Chanel, but there wasn’t any question in my mind. I cannot believe Terre DHermes is that high. It’s fine but I’d never list it higher than something like Prada LHomme.
Is ok BUT i think sauvage really deserve more than dior homme intense that is also quite feminine honestly..sauvage can't be outside a list like this it's definitely a game changer
Of these 10 I own Tom Ford Oud Wood, Spicebomb Extreme, Creed Aventus, and Bleu de Chanel EDT. I keep the Tom Ford because it reminds me of the girl that bought it for me but in my humble opinion it smells just a little bit synthetic which is one thing I don't care for in fragrances, when it comes to Oud, I prefer Oud for Greatness, I do wear that one occasionally. Aventus is my daily go to and Green Irish Tweed is my dress up and the other 18 or 20 of my fragrances basically collect dust but I have been wearing my Spicebomb Extreme quite a bit more lately as my girlfriend really likes it and I have to admit it is a classic. I find it hard to believe that Fahrenheit made the list that stuff is crap I wouldn't use it for anything except for starting my campfire.....
Gonna wait for the niche one because I can't relate to designer any more. I guess Prada L'homme and Dior Sauvage not being on the list is surprising? But there is a finite amount of spots.
The best I ever smelt was one made by Givenchy, it was in a green bottle and the year was around 2004/5. Everyone I was with couldn't put it down when treating it in boots. I didn't have my wallet with me so couldn't buy it and have never seen it since. Do you have any idea which one it was?
Very Irresistible for men Givenchy - I had this, loved the bottle as well as the fragrance. EDIT HOLY SHIT ITS EXPENSIVE. I think I used my club card points when buying it loool
been collecting since january, have 80 frags and an empty wallet, but i have spicebomb extreme, chanel parfum,La Nuit De' L' homme,Acqua di Gio Profumo, and Dior Homme Intense which is my fav of the lot,and the funny thing is i only got into this because a jeremy fragrance vid popped up in my recomendations,i had no intentions whatsoever of spending on fragrances, now i'm subbed to you and most of the others and my mates got in on it all too
Terrible collection. These people are super wrong. The real list should be: Polo Green, Aramis, Carolina Herrera, Paco Raban 1 million, Lacoste Essence, there's more but these are THE LONGEST LASTING COLOGNES.
It's funny people talk about YSL la Nuit and the only good la Nuit is the 2009~2013 first formulation 4digit batches , the OG 1971 YSL pour Homme the red cap is the real best YSL cologne , in my humble opinion
Well you asked me to chime in, so here you go. I am a woman and really into fragrances and absolutely do not like Tom Ford Oud Wood! So far I've only found one Tom Ford that I like for myself and None that I would even give a sample to my male family members. The only other one I really have never cared for is Aventus. Huh.... Sauvage isn't on the list... it seems like it's on every single one of these top 10 favorite lists. LOL
I know that taste is very personal and subjective- but this list lacks many classic’s and timeless creations, the voters and the host look amateur - where are Patou by Jean Patou and Dunhill Edition ? I have 9 out of 10 of these fragrances except oud wood, interestingly all bought early on in my collecting addiction, i was obviously heavily influenced by all the UA-cam reviewers at the time, but all very lovely fragrances........good review Chris
I can't believe dior homme intense is number 1 lol. I have it. And i never use it. It smells like what a 60 year old woman would wear back in the 1960s. It's an old lady scent. Maybe i got a bad bottle? Who knows. And crazy how D&G the one isn't on the list. The list is flawed big time.
Lol I unfortunately don’t like anything from TF. I just don’t know what it is with their DNA I can’t stand it at all. Not a single fragrance I could like from them.
Bleu Electrique disappeared from most online sellers for a while and there were credible claims that it had been discontinued, but over the last few months it has steadily become available everywhere once again. My guess is that, since this was released during the pandemic, probably some supply chains were cut over time, which made it impossible for YSL to keep distributing it and since this had so much online hype, resellers' stocks quickly ran out after the supply chain was cut. Now that everything is back to normal, it is being mass produced again so every online store has plenty of bottles to sell. That's my theory.
Chris was it hard to start your online biz...i ask because i also want to do the same...where i live in libby mt they have no fragrance shop so was wondering if sometime you could maybe talk to me about your online fragrance store so i can get some pointers on how to start...yes it takes money to start which i have depending on how much it takes to start one of these online fragrance stores......get back to me when you have a moment! Thanks Terry Smiles
I have them all . Over 200 different fragrances. I agree with the list for the most part. Spicebomb extreme like you said should be much higher up. Probably top 3.
Was fully expecting Sauvage to be number one, don’t get me wrong, I eyeroll every time I smell someone wearing it, like all the choices you have and you picked that... but you can’t deny, people like it.
I had adg Profumo when it first came out and never wore it, the bottle lasted me a few years but now that I don’t have it I really want it again. I’m 27 now and I’ve been liking a bit more mature fragrances and I feel if I remember right that cologne would be perfect for me. I love Profondo and own it but want something a bit more masculine sometimes
I own or have owned every single one except Fahrenheit. Fully agree with Terre D'Hermes being #2, it's a Masterpiece of perfumery. My top 5 would be 1. Terre D'Hermes 2. Bleu De Chanel 3. Happyland Shameless 4. Dior Homme Cologne 5. Chanel Allure Homme Sport EDT
1:00 Tom Ford Oud Wood
2:05 spicebomb extreme
3:10 dior fahrenheit
4:17 YSL La nuite de lhomme
6:22 dior homme parfum
7:13 acqua di gio profumo
8:00 creed aventus
9:12 bleu de chanel edp
10:32 terre d hermes
11:56 dior homme intense
My first time being the summary guy who would have thought Lmao
Is the hermes edt or edp?
That's what I was looking for. Thank you very much!
Youre a LEGEND!
I would call this the basic bitch list of best perfumes.
Thanks a lot man
Just found this channel. This guy is wonderful. He's got terrific energy and a good sense of humor....very nice. Thank you.
Thanks so much!
Just bought my first “big boy” fragrance. And, of course, it’s Terre d’Hermes (edt). I don’t even care, I freaking love it. It’s lasts me all day and I really enjoy it from start to finish.
TDH is an absolute masterpiece.
How has your collection grown since your first "big boy" bottle?
Not bad, glad to see Oud Wood, Aventus and Terre d'Hermes on this list, I have all three plus Terre d'Hermes is the one that really got me into fragrances.
The one and only Terre !!!
Currently testing a sample of DHI, first time I’ve smelled it and I’m relieved to finally understand the ‘lipstick’ comparison! It smells amazing
I can’t picture lipstick smelling nice at all, definitely need to smell it myself
It smells disgusting, Dior make some of the most overrated fragrances I’ve ever seen.
Dior Homme Intense is amazing! Glad to see that line getting the representation it deserves with that and Parfum.
Those have always been talked about on Frag channels. Almost at nauseam. They have consistently been on countdowns in some way or fashion
Dior homme eau for men is a banger
It smells like the inside of an old lady's handbag. I'm convinced there's some sort of worldwide trolling going on
@@Spit87 lol. The lipstick. Scent is subjective for sure but every time I wear it, the compliments come rolling in
@@DaChad86 are the compliments from old ladies by any chance 😂
Terre d Hermes is quite weak I actually got bored of the smell after a while I don't reach for it often. Dior homme intense isn't very versatile I can't think of many occasions to wear it although it's fantastic.

Your editing and style of video is so professional, I wish you had more recognition. I’m sure you will in the future!
Many thanks!
It’s because he doesn’t make that many videos anymore. The ones on UA-cam that are big all post videos every single day
It's because he's missing the x factor. Nobody will turn a head when he passes by.
I agree 😍😍😍
Dior and Armani are masterpieces in terms of Masculine fragrances. My number one is still Aqua De Gio 😍😍😍
uuh, great video idea. excellent video, cutting , audio, lighting, editing on point as always, enjoyed it a lot.

Allure extreme sports is #1
Dior sauvage Elixir….. wipes floor with all shown in this video it’s a must 😮
No it doesn't
Wow! three fragrances from the house of Cristian Dior in this top 10 list including the number #1 best of all time, Bravo Dior you guys have done a wonderful job with your fragrances. Kudos

I get powdery pear, iris and vanilla
It smells like chocolate sex on the dry down
The dry down is stunning. DHI is a master of perfumery. And I guess the reason why so many guys now love it is because women like it on them.
Same experience that I had with DHI. Off putting on the initial to mid since I'm used to masculine leaning scents on the first test on the strip. Tried it again on the skin the second time and it grew on me and the dry down was addicting..a bit woody and cholatey to me.
Fahrenheit above Oud Wood?!?!? Blasphemy 😂
Spicebomb Extreme is top 3 for me ♥️ love that one
I agree.
JPG Le Male 🤷♂️
Why isn't brut and old spice not in the top ten?.
too Manly for the Modern Man

shame that TF Noir extreme is not in the list , i d choose t ove ysl la nuit de l homme
As far as Iris, I just can't stand it... I have tried to like it tho
That's why it's discontinued... it's killing the sales of Le Nuit De L'homme which is probably cheaper to produce
Fahrenheit !!! Thats my fragrance 👍
9:18 mine too, spray from Chanel unfortunately wastes a lot of perfume, which is a shame. I think it was done on purpose so that you use it up faster👎

Lol I unfortunately don’t like anything from TF. I just don’t know what it is with their DNA I can’t stand it at all. Not a single fragrance I could like from them.
Dior homme intense absolutely 🔥🔥
I love feminine perfumes. Dior Homme Intense does have feminine notes. Why must men's fragrances be masculine? Many men are not masculine.
Bleu Electrique disappeared from most online sellers for a while and there were credible claims that it had been discontinued, but over the last few months it has steadily become available everywhere once again. Yes it's a very reasonable list. I'd place Dior Homme Parfum, Fahrenheit, and V&R Spicebomb Extreme above AdG Profumo though
Bdc edp has the soul of the edp but has way more versatility and complexity. Edt gets boring compared to edp

Jpg, sauvage , prada l’homme , d&g, 1 million , invictus !! All time classics and not even on the list ridiculous
1 million and especially invictus are garbage.
I gotta give it up for Mont Blanc. Their clone of Creed is spot on. I have both, & I can’t tell the difference.
That whole list is screwed up. I don't know how people are voting. Dior Intense is not that amazing to me. Smells too powdery.
Fahrenheit definitely
Thanks God I own #1, 2, 3 , 4, 5. Otherwise, I will not be able to sleep until I get those.
I'm hoping at the end of this year, Givenchy Gentleman Reserve Privée will be in the Top 10 Men's Fragrances for 2022 🙏
Creed is overpriced for what it is.
I thought the same until I smelled green Irish tweed. I jizzed
if people put Bleu Electrique in the top 10 of all time then ive lost faith in the whole community
Totally mainstream, this is just an ego massaging exercise for the blogger. Total crap
no way dior fahrenheit belongs on here... especially above oud wood. but i guess to each their own
I just sampled Terre D'Hermes EDT and I am absolutely in love with it. So excited to get my hands on a bottle!
I miss the Sauvage here
I'll answer this question no he doesn't job done you don't need to watch this video anymore lol
How has issey miyake leau dissey not made this list? You all for covid noses?
St Barth Homme is the best, forget the rest....
My favourite is Creed Aventus 😍😍😍
Thats nothing!!
Try Penhalgons!!
I have them all . Over 200 different fragrances. I agree with the list for the most part.

I bought Terre D'Hermes in 2008
I own or have owned every single one except Fahrenheit.
Fully agree with Terre D'Hermes being #2, it's a Masterpiece of perfumery.
My top 5 would be
1. Terre D'Hermes
2. Bleu De Chanel
3. Happyland Shameless
4. Dior Homme Cologne
5. Chanel Allure Homme Sport EDT
@Grichka Bogdanoff to each their own, I'm sure you like something I find mundane.
