- Is owning an Airbnb in Italy a good business idea? It seems the perfect paradise for making some extra monthly income. While staying in Feriolo, I decided it was time to ask an expert. Thankfully, PierAngelo property owner of La Caramella along the beach of Lake Maggiore was awesome and willing to share a few thoughts as an Airbnb Host.
This experience made our 1 euro home search more valuable than we could have anticipated.
It was nice to see that someone down to earth like PierAngelo could provide such a great experience for us in North Italy.

For the people who haven' t visited the big lakes in northern Italy, do because they are just spectacular, doesn t matter which one they are all truly italian jewels

I was in Italy in 2019. I think I should have done the same thing.
I am also interested in buying a low cost home in Italy.
I believe that 1 euro houses are not interesting.
I am Brazilian with Italian citizenship.
I am seeing houses in the range of 10,000 euros and that there is no need for renovation contracts leaving me free as to time.
Definitely a good idea. I have made many Brazilian friends here from Sao Paulo.
Great interview! Now, can you find an owner from outside Italy and interview them on how it is to own and operate an AirBNB in Italy? I would like to do this.

DauVo, I love watching your videos, but I wondered how in the world are you out interviewing in times like this when the recommendations are to stay away from others while this emergency pass. Of course, I want to watch your videos, I enjoy every piece of information that you share but if you don’t do it at the moment I perfectly understand because, right now the most important is safety for you and your family as well as, others. Good question. Fortunately I was able to make a trip before it was mandated to stay in our homes. We have been self isolated since February 21st when it first arrived in our zone. I definitely won't be heading out there now. A video previous to this I made as I was required to travel to the consulate, so I took advantage of being out in the city.
