Nemesis 3D Board Build - A Tour of the Ship...

- A more detailed flyover of the layout and some of the features of my 3D Nemesis board. This build is still a work in progress, but this video provides a look at the layout, lighting, fog machine, engine status lighting, technical corridor lighting, door function, room exploration function and the self-destruct/round counter panels amongst other things.
The majority of the walls, floors and doors are 3D printed using the very awesome Dragon's Rest Outpost Origins Ultimate Collection. The middle Engine Room is 3D printed using the 'Biocraft' set. I have also added a wide variety of open source dressings, greebles and bits and pieces from Thingiverse.
I hope to eventually record and upload a more in depth, technical how-to video. Thanks for watching.
Dude this is seriously next level. Incredible
Thanks a lot!
I need this table in my life! Incredible work!
Thanks Hoja!
This is where I wish I was born with any kind of talent for creative things like building and painting. My little brother got all of those genes it seems!
Absolutely phenomenal, mate. Super jealous of this!
Thanks a lot mate, appreciate the kind words 😊
This puts my one to shame! What a terrific job! All the electronic components really add to the atmosphere! Love it!
Thanks mate!
Wow... i have no words! This is incredible 😍
Thanks mate! Glad you like
Awesome. I am doing mine with the HVAC set. Your table is great source of inspiration thanks for sharing
Thanks Pixyfrog! Glad you like. Yeah the HVAC set is amazing, I was really torn on whether to use it or the Outpost Origins. Would love to see photos/video of your build.
@@The15091Bravo sure can mix both, have start something in 20mm, there is trnasitional for both set and will be nice also !
crazy job !
This is fucking amazing. Well done.
Thanks a lot LTM
So... when's the next game night. I've packed my overnight bag. Amazing work Jay!
Haha thanks Randy! You’re more than welcome anytime mate 😁
Nice, now we need a Lockdown version with 3 levels and the Mars surface!
Wow, this is incredible! What an inspiring undertaking. So many clever solutions and attention to detail. Very impressive!
Thanks a lot Kallstrom!
Bravo. Bravo. Bravo. I like it a lot. 😆
Thanks Raffaele
Absolutely amazing!
Thanks mate!
Outstanding work. It looks absolutely superb.
Thanks very much mate!
Incredible work! Subscribed!
Thanks mate!
Game Goals! Awesome project mate!
Thanks a lot Mike!
As a giant aliens fan this is beyond incredible work!
The unfortunate limitation is the inability to play aftermath or lockdown on that board. I certainly wish you lived in Arizona because I would love to play on that board
Thanks a lot! Yeah I didn’t make it for the expansions or Lockdown, I was more than happy to just cater to vanilla Nemesis which is a fantastic game that will long be played on my table 😊
This is incredible!
Thanks for stopping by!
Wow.
Great job! Where can I find the hibernatorium files? And the LEDs used?
Amazing work man this is epic
Thanks a lot Andy!
This is amazing. Are those blinking LED's simple to make?
Yeah, it was pretty straight forward. I just bought a bunch of different colours and solid/blink types from an Australian online LED supplier. Worked out where I wanted them and drilled holes for them, ran the cabling underneath the floors of the modular sections. Each section has a 9v or AA battery switch to turn the lights on/off. I would have liked more ‘pulse/flicker’ type lights but they were hard to find in colours other than the common amber type in fake tealight candles.
siiick 🙌
Absolutely amazing. Do you have an actual list of all the components? This would be amazing to replicate. Youve done incredible work.
Hi Joseph, sorry for the late reply. No, I don’t currently have a list of all the components, but it’s something I hope to cover in a future video.
Have you considered running a Kickstarter campaign to sell these files? I would be super interested!
Hi Daniel. The rights to the digital files belong to Dragon’s Rest. You can purchase the files from their website. I got the Outpost Origins Ultimate set.
Super impressed but how are the room cards used when you play nemesis a lot of the rooms are filled if you can’t use the tiles it takes away from the game but that definitely would kick ass playing aliens agditc my bad I didn’t watch long enough I didn’t realize the rooms can be empty super job
Thanks a lot mate!
Amazing! A question: Can you hide the lights from the engine so the impostor won't fail when modding the state the engine?
Thanks Ferenc. The impostor would simply do what they normally do - if they ‘break’ the engine but say it is working, they would put the damaged token on top underneath the engine but select the green light. As always it’d be up to the crew to double check if they dont trust a team mate.
Or if you wanted to, you can just not use the engine lights, they’re on a 3 way switch so can be left off.
@@The15091Bravo Amazin! Gerat work again! Thank you the answer. :)
@@Ferenc-Racz No probs, thanks for stopping by!
Hi, awesome job! It really looks spectacular.
For some time, I have been investigating the possibilities of making the Nemesis ship a "reality". I would like to ask you the following: Would you work on this spaceship for hire?
Best
Thanks a lot, glad you like.
Not quite following what you’re asking though?
@@The15091Bravo Sorry for the bad explanation. I was referring to if he makes the Nemesis spaceship to order, that is, if he would make one to sell.
@@JoshuAlfaX I’ve actually been considering selling it, it would be a nightmare to post though!
@@The15091Bravo If you are interested in selling it, I am interested in buying it 😄 I can advise you some apps and websites where you could easily publish the ad
@@JoshuAlfaX If you were genuinely interested, you can reach me at info@talismansabreterrain.com to discuss further. I’m pretty sure the freight costs would be prohibitive though.
For real man great work! Would you consider printing/ selling these pieces ?
Thanks a lot! I have considered selling the layout, but unless you’re in Brisbane, shipping would be back breaking!
Could y point me to HVAC set reference? Thanks!
dragons.rest/collections/all/products/hvac-tunnels I printed the HVAC set and am very happy with the results now that I've finished painting it! As for Bravo Gaming, I can comfortably say that Jay's finished product is the most elaborate project for Nemesis I have seen yet, truly incredible!
@@boardgameswithjody6043 many thanks. Which kind of 3D printing you have? 😊
@@raffaelerossi5183 My pleasure, I have a Prusa MK3s
Thanks for stopping by peeps 😊
Hi there, im interested in the actual table, can you please share me the model?, im trying to buy a good table with space for dices and big boards.
Hi Seb, I made the table as a custom project without any plans.
