Michael Keaton As Beetlejuice! It's Showtime.

In 1988, Tim Burton introduced a new weird character, Beetlejuice. With a killer performance by Michael Keaton this character became everyone's favorite bio-exorcist.
At the time, Burton was mostly famous for directing "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure". While that was a big hit this fantasy horror comedy would become a HUGE hit because Tim Burton put all the right ingredients on screen. A stellar cast featuring Michael Keaton, Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, and Winona Ryder with an awesome soundtrack by Danny Elfman and featuring a couple of Harry Belafonte hit songs.
It's a wild ride with lots of laughs, cool effects and a great story. Keaton was so amazing that you didn't even notice that Beetlejuice is only on screen for about 17 minutes of the film.
Being there opening weekend and watching Beetlejuice for the first time was such a unique experience. Soon there will be a sequel with Michael Keaton returning as Beetlejuice and Winona Ryder as a now adult Lydia with her own goth daughter played by hot new star Jenna Ortega. This sequel will get to introduce Beetlejuice to a whole new generation of fans. Another great movie from the 80s.
