I love the “alpha” dynamic between Rick and Shane. Shane was the leader of this group but Rick was the leader between the two of them. Watching their relationship and seeing how they try to fit that old dynamic in this new world is so interesting to me. Also respect for Rick for telling Daryl the truth.

@@summerrunner1755 How is she a hypocrite? The second she realized Rick wasn't dead, she cut it off and felt guilty for cheating and felt that Shane tricked her into something she wouldn't have done otherwise. Meanwhile, Shane keeps on trying to get with Lori AFTER his best friend has come back.

Given the context it was safe for him to assume Rick was indeed dead. He kept Lori and Carl safe all this time during the apocalypse. And what does he get in return? Getting guilt tripped by this supposed self righteous woman that wants to believe she kept her wedding vows. Her and Carl could've been dead if it wasn't for Shane for all we know. But he's the bad guy in this, ok sure..

Episode 1 is now blocked too along with 2, seems to be the case in some European countries, like Finland and France from what i've seen in the comments.
This is so mind blowing to watch after 10+ yrs! The 2 most "worthless" characters, Carol and Daryl, are the only ones alive now (except the "missing in action Rick), and they are the biggest badasses on the show now.
Let's be realistic if Rick in a hospital full of zombies and in a comma you gonna assume he's dead but your not going on a suicide mission to find out and you not going to tell his wife and kid there's a possibility your dad is alive so you can hear everyday let's go get him or worst they sneak off to try and rescue him. In this world for some reason they think your a superhero and people are ready to gamble your life or look stupid if you don't want to gamble your life
If Lori wanted to try to rescue Rick or sneak off and see him THAT'S HER CHOICE. She's a fucking adult. Shane isn't her father and we've clearly established he isn't her husband. Shane's idea that he can do whatever HE wants and justify it later because he was "just looking out for (insert name of person to be used as convenient excuse here)" is bullshit and it's dangerous. It also shows he really doesn't respect anyone else, even the people he claims to "love."

Hey! Shane always wanted ricks wife and with rick out of the picture he wasn’t about to let the chance pass him by and yes he definitely lied about rick dying. Shane is a amazing actor, y’all should watch The punisher at some point blood and death everywhere it’s so good 😌.
To be fair, Rick beat a lot of improbability to survive the situation. Assuming that he was beyond rescue and would be dead soon isn't really a stretch. Rick was dead to the world. Less explaining, more getting Lori and Carl somewhere safe. I don't fault Shane for that.
He didn’t lie. Rick was hooked up to hospital machines, in a coma and Shane didn’t hear a heartbeat.

Why all the hate for Lori? Rick was in a coma before the shit kicked off. A familiar man who risked his life to protect and save her and her son? It was bound to happen. I don’t blame her for that at all.
Bruh, it was 2 weeks or some shit. If you get over your husband and father of your child that quick you should just break up with him now.
Think of it like this. The reason she got with Shane is because of how much he's like Rick. They were best friends and at the start had similar qualities. It's not like Rick went on a business trip for a week, Lori believed her husband was dead and when she did find out, she terminated her relationship with Shane, if she kept sleeping with him, I could see why you'd be mad, but that's not what happened. I hate comic version of lori because she thought rick was still alive when she slept with Shane and led both men on, but TV Lori didn't do that.

Lots of people do that, so it wasn't surprising (to me at least) that something like this would happen. Finding comfort in each other, I mean. Too bad it became more than just comfort for Shane.

@Blake Hunt Shane should have run off with Andrea when he had the chance. I can say from experience that it's a lot easier to get over someone when you're not seeing them every damn day. Once Shane decided to stay (and had his little Apocalypse Now descent into madness), there was no coming back for him.

The comic is still going...it's written by Robert Kirkman and came out in 2003. I read for a bit, but it actually got too graphic for me, so I stuck to the show.

I'm so excited for this. The first seasons were the best. 7+8 were not that good and a lot of people stopped watching that's why it's not as hyped as it used to be. But for season 9 they finally changed the writer and Angela Kang is doing an amazing job. She's also confirmed to write season 10. So i'm definitely gonna finish this series. Enjoy it :) It will be a wild ride! And just like with GoT, we all waiting for you to see "THAT" episode where everybody lost their shit. hehe
