- The natural beauty of the Cumberland National Park serves as the inspiration for this colorful new work from composer Randall Standridge. Presented as an attaca suite in four movements, this work depicts the passing of the seasons in this gorgeous locale. The fun of a summer river adventure begins the work, which then changes to a fiddle song celebrating the autumn harvest. Next, the cold winds of winter provide a somber contrast before spring bursts forth in a verdant celebration. Teaching and expressive opportunities abound in this expansive work that will showcase your ensemble's best assets at your next concert or festival performance!
This is how you keep students in BAND!!!! Play really cool stuff like this. Mr Standridge. . . . I have no words other than THANK YOU
Thank you!
second movement reminds me of Cumberland Cross by Strommen.
Same bruh, but their both about Cumberland and probably both inspired by the same thing
