Anything can be written in a book. There are other, more reasonably explained and repeatable theories to how this structure could have been made. The burden of proof is on you to find proof of the existence of giants.

My husband and I live in Israel and went here a couple of years ago with a guide from the local field school. We went inside the window and there's a seat inside, as if for a pilot. It may have been used for astronomical purposes. The Sumerians lived not too far north of this area and had a very advanced civilization. Solomon's Temple in Jerusalem was also built so that on the solstice the rays of the sun hit exactly on the Holy of Holies, where the Ark of the Covenant was kept. It's a very cool site.
Never understood why people believe people of the past were ignorant and uneducated. We're not any smarter today than they were then. Should a time machine ever be used to bring someone forward from the past, outside of adapting to society, they would be able to learn anything and everything we have learned and built on from one generation to the next.

Once you build the center all you need to do is use ropes anchored from a center post to measure circumference. Add on to the rope for the next section of stones while building in diameter, it's rather simple. I use this method for making curved retaining walls, works great. Like your videos!
The first thing I thought of with the circles was: In order to make a perfect circle on paper your anchor a piece of string tied to a pencil and trace around. I wonder if they just had a guy stand in the center with rope, and another guy at the end of the rope using rocks to line a circle. Then just expanding outward an increment maybe measuring with steps or cubits etc and repeating the same until the design is finished. When you mentioned about how they were able to figure out the longest day of the year I thought maybe they could have made circles this way too. You two are amazing by the way. I think that structures were used as cattle den like today's ranch. Each circle was for each type of herd of cattle. The surrounding plane was used for grazing and the thing in the middle of it is where they keep the water, covered from the sun.

Just as you used a nail to demonstrate how the shadow falls during the year then perhaps, if you were to put a tall wood stake in the centre of the circles, as the sun moved around during the year it would cast a shadow across the circles. Like a giant calendar it would fall on certain points of the circles to indicate a certain time of the year. Depending on how high the sun is, it would fall onto the inner or outer circles. You wouldn't necessarily need to view it from above, you would just need to be standing where the shadow falls to know what "time" of the year it was. Just a thought.

A fascinating look at sites mentioned in the book of Judges and elsewhere in the Bible. The drawings show sites of buildings built with stones so huge, they had to have been put there by giants.

I think that structures were used as cattle den like today's ranch. Each circle was for each type of herd of cattle. The surrounding plane was used for grazing and the thing in the middle of it is where they keep the water, covered from the sun.

Very interesting. Just as you used a nail to demonstrate how the shadow falls during the year then perhaps, if you were to put a tall wood stake in the centre of the circles, as the sun moved around during the year it would cast a shadow across the circles. Like a giant calendar it would fall on certain points of the circles to indicate a certain time of the year. Depending on how high the sun is, it would fall onto the inner or outer circles. You wouldn't necessarily need to view it from above, you would just need to be standing where the shadow falls to know what "time" of the year it was. Just a thought.

Have you ever read or seen the book, 'The Giant Cities of Bashan and Syria's Holy Places', by J.L Porter? It was written in the 19th Century. A fascinating look at sites mentioned in the book of Judges and elsewhere in the Bible. The drawings show sites of buildings built with stones so huge, they had to have been put there by giants.
My guess would be that it was some sort of clock/calendar due to its nature of having to do with time and astronomical observation.
