    I've just had a go at making rivets with droplets of Glue 'n Glaze. I'm posting a photo right away.

    I put a comment here, but for unknown reasons, it disappeared. I know UA-cam practice censorship, but I haven't used any bad words. Anyway, I'll try again. I made rivets for a Panzer 38t paper model bases like that: I put white glue droplets at the same distance one from another, than I let them a while to get dry. The water in them vaporizes, of course, but there is enough substance remained for "the rivet". When dried, I paint them with silver paint (as I wanted that bases to imitate some metal plates). The scale was something like 1:65, can't remember well, but I think it might work in 1:87, too. Another method (which I haven't tried) might be steel pins: cut off (and use) the heads, which would resemble rivets. Have a peaceful evening, cheers!

      @@Cristake1974 I can see this comment, YT must have been suffering the heatwave 😅
      I was also thinking about droplets of PVA glue. Pin heads would also be good, but they do have the tendency to shoot away into unreachable parts of this somewhat crowded room ...😨 I'll have a go with the glue droplets.

    Never had a Kleinbahn loco, I do have a kleinbahn gondola wagon though.

      @@raymondleggs5508 this is my first one, it needs a good clean and lubrication. It must have been run on a carpet by the amount of fluff on the pick-ups. I've got four Kleinbahn Viennese suburban coaches, an orange 1980s coach and an FS silver painted goods wagon (of the type used to carry foodstuffs).

      @@TRENINI-AEREI-AUTOMODELLI Kleinbahn faceva modelli molto interessanti, combinando un buon livello di dettaglio con la robustezza. Le meccaniche erano molto interessanti. Questa locomotiva dev'essere un modello abbastanza recente perché ha un motore moderno fatto a Taiwan al posto di quello aperto. È molto silenzioso.

    I know that Slaters produce styrene sheet embossed with rivets . I've not seen that Kleinbahn loco before. Does it run the opposite way to other locos? (my 3 Kleinbahn locos do)

    • @patricksmodels
      @patricksmodels  3 місяці тому +1

      @@attuslebeard5133 yes, it runs in the opposite direction. I put it on the test track with the red and black Jouef 030ta Boer and they went in opposite ways. Rather interesting should I want to recreate a Gomez Addams trainset scenario 😅

      @@angelodelvecchio9241 ogni tanto faccio video bilingui (tipo quelli del tram Rivarossi) o video doppioni in italiano. Comunque sia non è assolutamente un problema fare video riepilogativi degli interventi di manutenzione in italiano. Spero possa farti piacere.
