Well ongoing trouble with my 2015 SE 2.5L. Will crank over when it wants to. This time it cranked over but not always. When I do manage to start it sometimes will die. Got it at auto electric shop. They said it might be the mass air flow sensor or air temperature sensor. But that wouldn’t cause the cranking problem?

So my 2016 se does this rough idle and a limp idle randomly. But no codes. Could this be the same issue possibly?

With a bad MAF the car will start and may even start. You got something else going on. I would check the crankshaft position sensor. Also it could be the starter itself that is acting intermittently.

@@YOUCANIC Are you saying it could be two different causes two different solutions ? Both starter and something else ? At least you answered my question that it couldn't be the MAF sensor by itself or the temp sensor ?
