YES! Thank you for shouting out the backup dancers. I knew Brian and Nick because of their previous work with BTS, but was unfamiliar with the other dancers. Bringing elite talent to JK's first solo stage!
I understand Yoongi calling him a superstar among idols a little better in their solo era. Jungkook is a phenomenal performer and artist. His expressions, the powerful way he moves, the grace with which he dances and his golden vocals. He does what he wants and it just looks so cool and effortless. He is so very hardworking. We have gotten so many of his solo works since the start of the Chapter 2. I’m just so proud of him and hope that he is as happy as he makes me💜

Maybe it's just me, but for some reason I see quite a bit of Jimin in his choreo.

It’s because they consistently use the same choreographers and like with Brian, have learned by watching his videos, so you see similar concepts and styles cropping up, keeping everything consistent.

I started listening to BTS for my teenage daughter, who is going through a tough time and I wanted to connect with her (2 years ago).
I quickly became an ARMY and fell in love with the boys. We had fun watching clips, singing along, squealing for them, and went to PTD LV last year for her 17th bday. She’s been less enthusiastic lately and I figured she was cooling on BTS but today, when I showed her Seven was #1 she shrugged and admitted she was over it. I felt silly but I stood in the kitchen and cried. She has so little to do with me that I felt like she just cut the last cord of connection that we had with each other. I feel a loss (plus HOW CAN YOU STOP LOVING THEM??? They mean so much to ARMY, was her fan ship ever real?) I have nothing to talk to her about anymore. She’s so closed.
Getting on here and seeing you two getting excited and silly over JK makes me feel a little better. I can’t share this with her but I’m not so alone. Sounds dramatic I know but if you don’t know what it is to have a teen that you don’t even recognize anymore, you won’t understand why having ANYTHING to encourage them to talk to you means for a parent.
Anyway, thank you for sharing my love and excitement for JK. 😢😢
I don't have kids but I still feel you. One day she will come out of that period of transition and you may find other ways to reconnect. But DO continue to enjoy the messages of positivity and love from their songs.
His dynamite performance was amazing w a little dance break, euphoria with his switch on the notes towards the end to his natural tone so warm and golden… and then rapping lattos part… ugh and seven… so effing good

This choreo is 🔥🔥, the backup dancers are ELITE, and JK absolutely killed it! Loved your reactions, FAM, and Blaze's comments about seeing BTS style/influence are spot on. All of the solo projects so far have showcased each member's unique talents and abilities, and also how they contribute to the team as a whole. I could be wrong, but I have yet to see from another group, do a solo, and still incorporate their members. Suga did the MIC Drop during That That performance in Psy's concert. Jhope also did the MIC Drop reference in the music video Rush Hour with Crush. Jin is doing the crossword puzzle in The Astronaut, mentioning ARMY and his family (BTS). If I'm missing anything, please fill it in. But, I'm sure you get what I mean 💜

This is the FIRST time we get to see jungkook do a dance in HIS Dance style… ya know.. he loves this kind of music… he always does that crotch grab thing to accentuate parts where it makes sense in BTS but that’s not a lot lol but he’s really grown into his own as a dancer… he used to be perfect at doing the choreo exactly as it was supposed to be… but this has so much of his natural charisma, he’s so cheeky and vibey and it’s so effortless for him. BTS doesn’t do dances like this and he’s never been able to shine dancing bc of that… even for like the dance line stuff… hobi and jimin always get dance styles that fit them so well… and jk would get a mix of the two other dancers styles kinda bc they’re the main dancer and he’s the lead dancer ya know… but seeing him thrive like this… I could cry… I’m so effing proud!!!! A win for jungkook or any other member is a win for the group imo ! I absolutely love it!

Just noticed something and I was wondering who else noticed it too. In the clean version, JK sings "it's the way that WE can ride" and then in the explicit version, he changes that to "it's the way that YOU can ride"... they really do hit like 2 different songs, don't they... it's all about the details💜

Yall know I love the reactions! What stood out to me in this one from yall is the "kookie nooooooo" and "visual bar". Yes, yes, yes! I definitely agree with you Blaze...the guys all are showing us their individual voices and styles in their solo work but we can see parts that were picked up by other members and then becoming ingrained into themselves...a bond so deep that we can't deny it. I absolutely love how happy JK looks just performing and doing this thing...all of them do whenever we see anything...that fire and passion and love has always been there since before their debut and just continues. Fun fact: one of the dancers that was there with him choreographed serendipity so i im so happy that he was included in this because i love his dancing style…he even said that when he was asked to join jimins project he was shocked because since his dancing style is more fluid no alot of people would work with him but he saw how well jimin portrayed his style while being able to add his ✨jimin touch✨ that he felt so happy and proud….ahh i love him

I love what Blaze said that you can see all members even if you're just watching one. This is most true when it comes to JK, as he's always said that the all the members influenced him, even as far as saying they raised him. Plus, JK is the greatest imitator there is. Not to say he's not original, just that he's such a quick learner/absorber of things.

back in one of the Festa they did (forgive me i forgot exactly what) JK said talked about this guy whose dance youtube channel Jimin watches religiously and someone Jimin tries to emulate. That man is Brian Puspos, whom JK handpicked to dance with him here. he also choreographed Serendipity though he didnt know it was for that song. Full circle moment if you will.
You still NEED to watch the choreography dance practice. He does not feel like the youngest anymore. Like you said OMG, this is explicit. This is the raw version of Kookie.❤❤❤❤
I love this video. ❤ The choreography is so smooth and looks fun. The best thing to me is that they're actually dancing and aren't just doing stiff stop and go choreography. It looks like synchronized natural dancing.

The thing that really blows my mind about this is that EVERY SINGLE ONE of the back-up dancers are highly lauded choreographers (Brian Puspos, Jake Kodish, Nick Joseph, and Dom Lashawn). He's got an all-star group dancing with him, and it makes me roar with pride!
One final note of interest: As I'm sure someone else has already pointed out, one of the dancers is Brian Puspos, who was Jimin's favorite choreographer back in their debut years. He choreographed "Butterfly" and "Serendipity," and Jimin did a cover of Brian's choreography for "Own It" at I think one of the Festas. Fun fact if yall dont know this: One of the dancers is Brian Puspos (Long sleeve, No beard guy). Jungkook and Brian dancing together is a scene I thought I'll never see. Jimin and Jungkook did a dance cover of Brian's choreography a long time ago which yall might have watched. Plus he is also the choreographer for Butterfly and Jimin's Serendipity. I was so happy and surprised to see him dance with Jungkook who is my bias. lol. Plus Brian is from Houston, Tx where I am from.

I LOVED THIS!!! JK gave us a tight tank top with an opened shirt. He worked out hard with grunts, groans, whining, and crying and it paid off! His body is tight! The choreo is fantastic! The back up dancers are amazing! Love it love it love it!
