Can we talk about the MV director for a minute, Tanu Muino. Both the MV and performance video feel like a work of art. The lighting, the set, those transitions, and how she frames each movement to capture the intricate details of the choreo and facial expression. One of the reasons i can watch over and over again.

Director had a great Team: set design, choreographers, the seasoned dance crew, even The Girl! Theatrical, indeed. Choreographer worked with BTS in BS&T and other MVs so there were tie-ins. JK is "Romeo".
It’s a female director? Wow. Very talented. The lighting is absolutely magnificent So complementing the dance move. The transition is perfectly stunning too. The squad. Like they said. Just elite!!! Everything is overwhelmingly perfect
This is the tightest choreography that I've ever seen. The "back up" dancers are ON POINT. All the dancers are in the zone. What a total masterpiece of music and choreography. It don't get much better than this. Great reaction. Take care.

Definitely can rewatch this choreography MV on repeat! Shout out to Keone Madrid for another unforgettable choreography. He brings out the best in BTS and is responsible for choreographing "Dope," "Fire," "Not Today," "Blood, Sweat & Tears," and V's song "Singularity."
They are all amazing. I think they filmed this at the same time as the video , because all the team wouldn't be together before their performance in New York.
I really wish those who are saying he copied Michael would learn what homage means. He didn't copy Michael actually he did Michael his way.

From the Today show.. After JK sang one of his songs, Hoda Kotb (host) approached a 10 yr old Army who had a sign for JK saying it was her bday. After exchanging “I love you’s” with JK and getting a bday greeting from him, tears began rolling down her face. It was a sweet moment.

Jungkook outdid himself with this one!! He is the superstar, he is the moment, the GOLDEN MAKNAE! Also the amazing dancers are Nick Joseph, Brian Puspos, Devin Pornel, Ian Eastwood (the guy with the ponytail who to me just eats this up even with finer details he adds😭) and Vinh Nguyen(who actually helped choreograph Permission To Dance😊). Theres one more dancer but as ARMYs we don't acknowledge him because of his controversial posts that he made while they were preparing for Golden and so we don't mention him. And lastly I have to keep repeating this cause he is a GENIUS but shoutout to thee Keone Madrid for this incredible choreography 😭💜

The maj of the choreo was done by world renowned dancer/choreographer Keone Madrid who also did the choreo for “Dope,” “Fire,” and “Not Today,” as well as “Blood, Sweat & Tears”! Combine this with JK’s 6 main dancers (all super famous and respected choreographers in their own right including Brian Puspos, Ian West and Vihn Nguyen - JKAAAAAAAAAAY essentially assembled the best crew for Golden💜 our Maknae Global Superstar!

Each time I watch this, I am blown away by the execution of this fantastic choreo. I'm not a dancer so don't know the different moves & levels of challenges but I sure can appreciate the complexity, the skills, the speed, the passion, the energy, the synchronisation, beautiful use of hand movements, the smoothness, & the effort & time it must have taken to perfect this performance. I still watch it almost on the edge of my seat, hypnotised, open mouthed & with my mind blown at the end.😲 Everyone involved in putting this together deserves multiple awards & huge congratulations. It really is top tier.

Do you know how amazing that is for a choreographer? Ahhhhh. He is a dancer’s choreographer. That’s why they hit your heart so hard….that’s why you stop breathing, Blaze. It is heartfelt and divine. Sigh. Watch it enough where you can look at the other guys, once in awhile. Pure joy.

Read this, not sure if its true, but interesting: Confirmed by the director of the music video that the inspiration and setting of the stage is a reference to Baz Luhrmann's 1996 film Romeo + Juliet, starring Leonardo DiCaprio (Romeo), Claire Danes (Juliet), John Leguizamo (Tybalt) and also Paul Rudd (Count Paris). Just like the 96' film, the stage is what's left of a destroyed theater and all that remains of the stage is a wall with a large hole that reveals the sunset through it. The limos represent a bit of a nostalgic luxury vehicle in today's modern world and like the story of Romeo and Juliet belonging to families that don't approve of their relationship because they're rivals and decide to end it all at this meeting where a huge fight between the families breaks out between Jungkook (Romeo) and his love interest (Juliet). Yet he still decides to stand next to her to the very end.

Soooo, we just gonna ignore how JK wore the same outfit as MJ in the "In the Closet" video!? Another thing I would like to challenge u guys on... Usually solo artists have their choreographer in the dance squad in their music videos. The best way to identify them, is that the choreographer in the group is performing the moves better than the artist themselves, more effortlessly, and smoother. We have just all been trained to focus on the artist though. I always tend to try to identify the Choreographer in MV's and do my research. Check it out and try to identify them fellas!

What I've noticed with all of his solo choreos is that they are formatted for 7 central dancers as a focal point. Meaning (I think) they've been created with 2025 in mind, so that once the group reunites, they can perform these songs with him as a team. Or maybe it's wishful thinking. 😅
