Unboxing and reviewing the new OutterGrip Symmetry Series iPhone 14 Pro case. This case features a rear grip (Pop Socket) that is thin enough to still be MagSafe Compatible with chargers and accessories.
After using the case for over a month it is very sturdy and protective. The magsafe function works very well and magsafe wallets, battery packs, etc do not have a problem falling off. The only complaint is that the case is very hard so it can be a bit slippery compared to a silicone or leather case. Also the "pop socket" is not as flexible. It requires you to stick a finger though which is not comfortable as a traditional pop socket where you have two fingers gripping the "pop socket."

Are those two bands on the ottergrip that flimsy silicone-y material or is it like hard plastic that holds its shape? Just asking because I used to have ohsnap 3 pro and it was disgustingly flimsy to where it wouldn’t even hold the weight of my iPhone and the phone just flopped everywhere. Hopefully the two bands are the rigid kind!

The two bands are silicone-y and also have some type of wire built in to hold up... sorta. I think they tried to make it better but it's not there yet. Its really not strong enough to hold the phone up or use like a kickstand

hi there do you happen to know if the case fits predecessors? i have an iphone 13 pro max so i'm wondering if the 14 pro max version would fit well. also, does slotting your finger through the handle feel comfortable? i find most ring handles to dig into my flesh more than i'd like.

I have it, not sure about fitting previous models. But, the ring part is thin and comfortable. Doesn’t dig into skin.

Yes the camera cut out will just be a little bit bigger but it will definitely work 👍🏽
