Hey, Chris T&T. Say, sorry about the comment regarding leaving your son with your wife. I really enjoy your hobby shops hops, especially when you bring your son. Over the weekend, I had a friend bring his son over to my house to see me run my trains in my basement for him. It was his birthday weekend and he loves trains just like us. I told my friend that you should bring your son over some day. Yeah, being a younger age they may tend to wander off and touch everything, but the curiosity and wonder is what’s amazing which reminds me of when I was a kid. However, he had an absolute blast as I had him run some of my trains too. My friend wants to do something similar to what I’m doing with my layout as I think that’s really cool in sharing the hobby with friends.

Great video. I am a youtuber also and can appreciate the crazy amount of time and effort put into these for everyone to enjoy. Sorry about the BBQ dude - our hobby sometimes has too many curmudgeons and you are totally correct to point it out. I love to see your kids with you!!

I am in TOTAL agreement with you on introducing your children to model trains and having them participate in the videos. Keep up the good work. Love the black bonnet. Great job on another video, as always, Chris!! Have to agree with you on the black matte finish on this loco; it definitely looks better than shiny black on some others - IMHO. Also, love the Viewer Mail addition to your videos. I almost missed it because it was at the end. But now that I know you're doing this, it's a nice feature to keep viewers all the way to the end!

Nice video. That is a sweet locomotive. I don't find that gentleman's comment offensive, more like unnecessary and a bit rude. Going with my parents to department stores, like Wanamaker's, was a great time in my life. Growing up in the sixties, they all had great toy departments, with plenty of trains and incredible Holiday displays. A kid could hang out as their parents went shopping, with no chance of getting lost. The hardware stores still sold and serviced Lionel and other brands back then. Maybe, he could have articulated himself a bit better by saying that he didn't mind kids, but they could be a bit distracting. I don't agree with that, either, but at least it wouldn't be , in a way, so mean-spirited. Either way, your layout is excellent and your videos are always informative and enjoyable.

Great Video Chris. Also, I liked the Neelys video, especially after seeing all of the premier they had. I called them next day asking if they had the Premier Erie Buy War Bonds Caboose. They did not. I also wanted to ask where you got the Santa Fe caboose. That's in this video, is it lying? L m t h or somebody else I'd like to pick one up
The caboose is an older MTH Premier model.

Feel really bad for the next generation trying to buy actual engines that were used in real life. But people keep spending their money on it……
