I've needed motivation to get sewing again. I haven't sewed since Christmas day. Yes, I was finishing my Christmas secret pajamas on Christmas morning! Anyway, this morning I took my sewing machine apart to clean it and got my fabric ready for my next project... Something for my sister's birthday in two weeks. I needed not just a kick in the butt, but also some friendly encouragement. Thank you!
I’m glad, Jailyn! I hope this reignites your sewjo! If it’s any consolation, I haven’t knit a stitch since New Years- I need to get back to the needles!
Hudson pants!!! I'm biased...the Hudsons are part of my #MakeNine2021, so I have an ulterior motive for encouraging the Hudsons. But they look SOOO comfy and sound very simple to make. Oh, no! You are the queen of "make it work"...you got this. Thank you for sharing this mistake; so grounding for beginning sewists who follow, and for showing your thought process for working through it...so helpful for us all. I think the wedge of pink is a great design feature.
Love the basic instincts tee...the colour is really pretty 💕. Lovely to see your coast and sea... I'm very lucky to be able to walk from my house to the sea everyday 🙏... it's so cathartic during these times isn't it 😊. The colour blocking looks fabulous with the pants 👌😁😘
I have just finished my third Como top, while watching/listening to you. I can only recommend this pattern. BTW I use for the inside layer of the front only a piece that goes down to my waist. There the end doesn’t show at all. The arm opening I had to shorten to avoid flashing my bra. But that is easy to adjust, as you first hem the sleeve opening and then sew the side seam. And I like your solution with the slim pink triangles very much. Very stylish.
Your cropped cardigan might look good over a fitted tshirt or tank with your black paints. Great inspirational video as my daughter bought a printed french terry and split it with me in October. We are both planning loungewear each with a different style.
I’m new here I just found your channel and I love what I see, really nice pieces but haven’t seen like tutorials. I will continue watching your playlist hopefully I find some tutorials because the summer dresses video was awesome.
thank you, and welcome! that’s true, I don’t really do tutorials, as I am not really an accomplished seamstress. what sort of tutorials would you like to see?
@@Lisamakes you would have to check first try couple thinks till u see one that nobary ever posted ,maybe even had some of your channel name , i think alot people would tag along just for fun 🤗were all looking for motivation and ideias and this would help 🤗❤
Lana set. How about a fitted camisole in the matching fabric to wear underneath? You'd preserve the cropped effect, which elongates the leg proportion, without exposing your midriff. Just an idea. Elegant loungewear is harder to make than it looks, right?
I think you would like the pattern Foxy Legs by pattern Emporium. I just made them and really like them. Your bad cut was probably because your not feeling well.

Yes! They are great. I’ve made them once before, a long time ago, and I wear them all the time. Although, they’re more home pants for me!

It really makes all the difference, doesn’t it Sally? To sea the sea.
I feel really inspired to make some loungewear of my own now! It’s really one of the few things I haven’t been making for myself.
I’m so glad!

Good to know! Thank you for the tips!
I love that hint of pink Can't wait to see the finished item :)
I loved it, too!

Oh, that’s so fun! Mother/daughter fashion is so cute. I haven’t really done that with my girls!
Gorgeous top from Lana set, that deep band looks so lovely 😍 Great plans, moving on to part 2 now 💖😘
Yes, that was what drew me to it- and now True Bias has a similar pattern out!

I love the patterns for pirates loggers pattern for the combination of leggings and joggers! I've made a few pairs
Cool! I’ll check them out. 😘
Lisa what a lovely t shirt. Love the fabric. Think that the colour in UK might be called blush.
hii ,you should make a hashtag ,and who ever wanted to make a little colection could show it off on your hashtag 👍,can't wait to see your makes ❤
True! What should the hashtag be?

I’m so jealous they don’t send to the US... The fabric is beautiful!!
Maybe they don’t want to deal with customs? I don’t know... too bad!
Love your plans...good to see you.
😘😘😘
the block!

That’s a great idea! I don’t own any camisoles, so it might be a nice addition. I’ll need to find a good pattern for knits.
Maybe add the black to extend the Tee sleeve.
That’s a great idea! I did finish them in pink, but that gives me another idea for future colour blocking. Thanks!
As woman I don't have the equipment for flys. I don't know why people like them.
I guess it gives you a closer fit- but I also love a side invisible zipper. ❤️

I’ll take a look! Yes, you’re probably right...
