With all the garbage that we can watch on different social media platforms, watching a video like this gives me hope that content that imparts wisdom and knowledge is still available to see if you look for it. The great samurai had a lot of wisdom to leave as his legacy. Even centuries after his death what he said is every bit applicable to our lives today as it did during Musashi's lifetime. Thanks for making this video!

@@Omni-King2099Alexander wasn't even close to the skill of Musashi. Musashi would have easily destroyed lil Ole Alex. He wasn't great, he used sophisticated weaponry and took out vilages of people unable to protect the selves. He took their orphaned children, raised them tot think he was Pharoah. OK, maybe not him directly, I'm cramming info, but from him the Ptolomy's. Basically I think he was a liar and played Pharoah, keeping knowledge to himself and playing god king for kids. He had no honor and never wrote or left any legacy like Musashi. Ain't got nothing to say about Ghengis. I just like mocking Alexander. Ashurbanipals inscription L4 from around 650bce, he was a real king. I'm obviously biased when it comes to Alexander but I think he is nowhere near the same level as Musashi as a warrior.

This is what Alexander The Great believed. If you believe it too, then you know Alexander, trained by the greatest philosophers, was not a horror that walked the earth. He was like Elijah or Elias. “God” told him from inside that the world was evil and needed his help; his way. The “God” he found was given him by Aristotle and Plato. He was not a sick man; he was a defiler of the psychopathic. He was a warrior for us. He killed sickness and gave the world some light from his teachers.

I know how to become undefeatable and have proven and tested it countless times. My practice is to never fight and let go of even the most difficult feelings to let go.
I accept myself exactly as I am and do not intend to change myself. I can´t improve over my Original Nature.
I fully accept my part in whatever situation or outcome of my words or interactions with the world.
I have not been defeated even once and I have paid the high price that the invincibility required me to pay.
Merciless honesty with myself and others, years of studies of many disciplines, deletion of greed, fame, striving to have an image, getting rid of the morals and ethics I have been taught by formal education and society and replacing them with my understanding of a moral and ethics code based on the knowledge that was bestowed to me when I crossed the Gateless Gate.
Reclined in the Chariot of Life,
    I whip mercilessly,
    Saints and demons alike.

**Title:** "Miyamoto Musashi: The Way of the Samurai"
    **Summary:**
This UA-cam video delves into the remarkable life and philosophy of Miyamoto Musashi, an iconic samurai from the late 1500s, known for his undefeated record in duels and his profound contributions beyond the battlefield. The video is based on Musashi's famous texts, "The Book of Five Rings" and "The Dokkodo," which outline his life's principles and philosophy.
Musashi's journey began at the age of 13 when he won his first duel. Throughout his life, he engaged in numerous battles, many of them to the death, and remained undefeated in 60 recorded duels. His unique two-sword style and adaptability were central to his success.
Beyond martial prowess, Musashi excelled as a Buddhist practitioner, philosopher, and writer. He believed in perfecting not only his swordsmanship but also calligraphy, poetry, and artwork. In his later years, he retired from swordsmanship with an undefeated record and retreated to a cave called the Regando, where he spent his final months meditating and writing.
Musashi's philosophy, outlined in "The Dokkodo," consists of 21 precepts that provide valuable life lessons. These principles emphasize self-control, mindfulness, detachment from material desires, humility, adaptability, and the pursuit of wisdom. They encourage individuals to be true to themselves, avoid jealousy, embrace change, and live with purpose.
"The Book of Five Rings," written by Musashi, focuses on strategy and martial arts. It discusses the importance of intuitive understanding, adaptability, and timing in combat, drawing parallels to water, which flows effortlessly around obstacles. Musashi also emphasizes the significance of mastering various weapons and continuous learning.
Overall, this video pays tribute to Miyamoto Musashi's exceptional life and the enduring wisdom he imparted through his writings, highlighting how his principles of discipline, adaptability, and mastery can still inspire and guide people today.

I love these teachings, as good as these are and as much as I appreciate them the Bible far exceeds anything else.

I don’t need to watch the video I already know about the subject he says in his book that if you want to be undefeated like him don’t do what he does follow what made him like that don’t follow his every action follow what gets you there and let your wisdom guid you you have to believe in yourself if you don’t it’s not going to work you have to flow like water in life it’s the art of not trying if you try to hard you will get burnt out and will be unproductive but if you try your trying so you will get there I can loads more just wanted to pop in and out.

He didn't kill many of his dual opponents, and he only used a wooden sword after his first few duals. He just wanted to master his craft.

@@djyua9157 Between Miyamoto Musashi’s debut as a duelist in 1596 and his refusal to participate in lethal duels in 1612, Musashi unsurprisingly fought in a lot of duels. One of the more famous (or infamous) of his fights occurred in 1604, when Musashi traveled to Kyoto to challenge the elite Yoshioka school of martial arts. The head of the Yoshioka family, Yoshioka Seijuro, agreed to meet the youthful duelist in combat. After arriving frustratingly late to the duel, it only took Musashi one devastating blow with his wooden sword to irreparably damage his opponent’s shoulder and arm. Injured in body and spirit, Seijuro resigned from his position as head of the Yoshioka family and became a monk. With Seijuro gone, the leadership of the Yoshioka family and school fell to Denshichiro. To regain the lost honor of his family, Yoshioka Denshichiro challenged Miyamoto Musashi to a duel to the death. Despite Denshichiro being a master of the staff, Musashi (who arrived late, once again) is said to have killed the man in a single blow to the head.
