The Tasman had so much promise with the teasing of concept images. It looked brilliant. What has actually been served up looks hideous and the power comes from a 10 year old Santa Fe / Sorento. They will have to price these dirt cheep to move any of them. Even then I wouldn’t buy one when you look at the competition coming out of China in BYD / Tank etc.
Divisive means that people have different opinions. That is not the case here. Everyone agrees it is hideous. A real disappointment. Lacklustre engine, aged 4wd drivetrain tech, 3500kgs tow with an 2.2 diesel with class lowering power and torque is a joke. We need some honesty here.
No one is debating or being Polarised …..everyone thinks it’s ugly and weak motor. I’m sick of motoring journalists pandering to manufacturers. Just say it like it is.
Don’t mind the look to be honest, it looks rugged in my opinion and doesn’t need to look like it’s being driven by some inner city suburban mum going up to Woolworths to do her shopping. The engine though….is another matter. We’ll see once it’s used off-road
This was definitely not designed for Australians in mind. It’s a Ute designed for the Asian market. It’s the ugliest Ute I’ve ever seen, and will not sell many, no matter how many UA-camrs attempt to sell it to Australians. Big mistake.
I love it ,looks different from the norm .good luck Kia
why should a off-roader by handsome, that thing needs to look a killer
I like the design

I think it looks good and if the price is right it will sell

Looks great … iconic

i dont think its ugly, looks awesome. I dont know much about the power of the engine though
He did criticise the styling. Did you actually watch it?

There has already been a Tasman failure..made by Austin..
And I think that's where they got their styling cues

I luv it. Go Kia
I love it! It's original and definitely a man's pickup👍Not for the girly guys😘😂
wow. first vehicle that that makes me vomit on sight. well done Kia.
Absolutely love the design , well done kia
It is so ugly. The BYD Shark will eat the Kia Tasman for breakfast. And probably vomit it up before lunch. I hate this thing.
BYD pays ppl for good reviews
Good. Don’t buy it then.
