We have that here in Central Florida too. It seems to come and go, with some years being worse than others. Last year and this year (so far) have not been so bad. I keep my Bacon Avocado cut back very compact to keep it accessible for things like this.
We're in Eden Roc and all our big trees got hit and we couldn't spray or we'd get drenched, too. Leaves and blossoms are back. Let's hope it's not an annual event. Thanks for your info!
Aloha GeenGardenGuy1.... I am following your suggestion for remedying the Lace Bugs and other pests. However, I am having a hard time finding this Spinosad and Imidacloprid here in the Big Island. You mentioned Spinosad + oil, what's the oil brand or name? Any suggestions would be helpful. Love your plan old fashion avocado island knowledge... 😎
I have some white translucent spider mite looking mite that seem to attack the avocado seeds and wood. I wish I knew what it is but I haven’t found any info on it yet. Do you guys have them mites too?
Thanks for the heads up, excellent video again.

Sorry to see that happen to a great producing tree. I am sure if anyone can find a solution you can. I like avocados as well. Have a great night.
What about lady beetles? Do you guys have them where you live? Would they kill the lace bugs?
Just a Thought , Have you tried Dish soap and Chilly Pepper Water ?
Looking good Bill! Your lady Ellen sure takes care of u really really well!
Which avocado varieties do you recommend for a year-round production?
How are your trees doing? I'm trying to rid these lace bugs in oahu.
Bill - Did you run a nursery in Freemont CA?
Need a decent size drone holding one end of your spray hose.
County of Hawaii only recommended to spray soapy water
Neem oil? I think we have them too. I will look up spinacat🍄🌈😃🤙
