I was in Selfridges in London and they had the engraving machine for the Lisa lipsticks there, so I got an engraved lipstick in Ashes to roses for my mums birthday. Those lipsticks make great gifts with the way they are personalised and also neutral everyday shades that most people would like

That green in the Pat duo looks like it's just as you say - it's very much just green. You usually wear nuanced and interesting shades of green, which doesn't mean you'll necessarily love a green green on the eye. Sometimes/often it's those nuances that make us love the colour and what makes it work on the eye/face in a special way.

I wonder if if you don’t love the green eyeshadow so much because of your olive undertone and therefore it doesn’t make your eyes pop the same way the other greens do like the one in the Egyptian Lisa Eldridge created pallet for Estée Lauder?
Have you ever tried the iconic London skin tint? I have dry skin, I can’t remember what your skin type is, but I feel like it works very well for me. I’m not super versed when it comes to formulas that work on specific skin types, but if you haven’t tried it, I feel like it’s a fave of mine. I don’t have a ton of empties that I repurchase but I did repurchase this one.

If you want to give it another chance… I use very little of it, and it still does an amazing job. And I have a similar olive undertone to you and found that MA1 and MA3 work really well, and if I’m at my darkest tan then MN4 is a beautiful shade too. I had to try 6 different shades before I found my match lol. But I promise it’s worth it! Especially with your glowy primers, I bet it would look amazing. But no hard feelings if you don’t like 😉
Wondering if u can tell me if Tom Ford Terra shows up on Med Tan skin before I buy it ? Nobody can seem to tell me I have been eyeing it and it's on sale but I don't want to purchase it if it is going to be to light. I don't mind building but I don't want it to be so light it is non-existent.

I've got a couple of the new Lisa Eldridge lipsticks. They apply lovely and the holder is nice, they also last VERY VERY well. However, my one whinge is the lipstick does sneak into fine lines around my lips that I didn't know i had and makes the lips look very crinkly after a couple of hours! I did use a L.E lipliner.
I don’t like the feel of the cover of the urban decay either. The feel of velvet sends me over the edge. Still eying the Roxa palette. I wish I could see it in person but Sephora in Canada no longer carries Natasha Denona palettes.
I know I am in the minority, and perhaps being a makeup lover and still a working girly on a budget does not put me in her target income bracket...I am a little offended at the price of the Lisa Eldridge lipstick launch. I get she is a vintage collector and wanted to offer her audience something lux and renewable....but $80 plus dollars for a lipstick is a never for me. (I don't care that it is refillable, I like clean pretty new packaging) I am a fan and have purchased 2 palettes, 4 original liquid lid shades, the tinted moisturizer, 5 lipliners and 3 glosses on a bartender wage and collect PAT McGRATH, Natasha Denona as well as the occasional Dior, Chanel etc...the point is I wear luxury makeup and usually do not jump on new launches waiting for them to go on sale, between the Sephora sale and Black Friday is when I make most of my purchases with a couple exceptions and the fact that Lisa rarely goes on sale this would be the time for that exception but I think I am going to splurge on Amouage Guidance this year instead. I always love your content and all the time you put into it.
