My thoughts exactly WRT - love what you drive. I built V8 muscle cars back in the 80s and 90s then drove 4 cylinder gas savers until I recently bought a Q60 RS and realized what I was missing. Love my RS, what a great looking (in and out) car and what a blast to drive. Enjoy!
Do yourself a favor a get one. I had a 2013 G37S coupe and the Q60 is a really good follow-up. The lack of a manual transmission is keeping it from being great.
Definitely a nice looking car but Infiniti doesn't need to get rid of it, they just need to increase the HP to keep up with the times. Make it more performance oriented
The reason it’s being discontinued is because of its interior, it’s really outdated prompting people to not buy them. The car can easily produce power with its twin turbo engine. It’s really easy to tune to 450whp or 530bhp. The vr30 engine in the q60 is the same as the Nissan z. The car has a really good engine with a beefy transmission, but it’s interior is outdated. They haven’t changed the interior since the first one came out in 2017.
@@2seep It seems like no one at Nissan or Honda really cares that much. They just redesign and that's it. Funny thing is I am now seeing these cars a lot more than I ever have before.
Most likely due to sales and lack there of. If it was a success, maybe we would have seen a convertible like the G37. I agree, one of INFINITI's best driving vehicles. Thanks for the comment!
Thank you! Very, very soon. Right now I have 1 2022 Redsport on the ground and we didn't have any build slots open up this month for Q60's. We might not get another allocation.
So many of these have had major issues. Now, this same engine is going in the new 'Z'. I had to have the engine and both turbos replaced at just over 39K miles on my 2018 Q60 Red Sport. I also had the leatherette (that's right, $65K car, imitation leather) replaced because the color kept rubbing off. Leaving white spots in the red everywhere this happened. Who knows if the engine problems have been engineered out of the engine. Just check the forums for the Q60 and Q50. Waaaaay to many owners had to go through having their engines and turbos replaced. I had a G37S before this and it was totally trouble free for the entire 150K miles I owned it. This will for sue be my last Nissan product. Its a shame really. I still smile every time I see it as I'm walking up to it. Gorgeous car. Excellent performance. Just not reliable, with some really questionable quality control.
While I cant speak to your engine... 2018 Leather was standard on the Q60 Red Sport: www.auto-brochures.com/makes/Infiniti/Q60/Infiniti_US%20Q60_2018.pdf Page 4, option 8.
I've always liked the Q60 Red Sport but the synthetic steering feeling from the steer by wire and the torque converted transmission is too slow. But i get it, it's geared more toward luxury, not performance. Great motor, get the AWD and if it had a transmission similar to a PDK I think it would have been a great performance car.
Would you get a Q60S sport (second hand) in 2022 or get a new gr86? I dont know if I want that small toyota or if this is better thinking about the future (reliability with those turbos)
Depends on what you're looking for in a driving experience. The Q60 is a luxury performance coupe with amenities and safety features. The gr86 is a driver's car that is much more basic. Also the Q60 is available with AWD where the gr86 is not. Also for your protection, the Q60 has a 6 year or 70,000 warranty with options to extend through the INFINITI Certified Pre-owned Package. Great question, thank you!
I think this is an error on the part of Infiniti. Yes I know a niche sports car probably doesn’t itself make money. But as a Q 60 owner who goes to the dealer with me? My wife or friends or kids when they drop me off etc. my wife would never drive a Q 60 but I guarantee you that if I’m driving an Infiniti sports car the chances of her wandering around the dealer and seeing a small suv that she wants is far far greater than if I didn’t hav an Infiniti. When my Q60 goes away I will probably return to Audi sport. And I’m sure that my wife will find something she likes in the Audi lineup. Sorry Infiniti. Consider this. Make the GtR the Infiniti halo car. Add a little more luxury and slap an Infiniti badge on it.
I couldn't agree more. I could go on and on about how the GT-R should have been an INFINITI product, look at the NSX... INIFNITI did make a prototype GT-R motor Q50. Check out "Eau Rouge Q50." Thanks for watching!
Gonna miss this Uber sexy exterior, great color combo for the ride! They’ll have to start selling them for $50k. Lots of them around me and a few dealers have already cut $7k off the $65k sticker. So good looking on the outside so out date compared to EVERYTHING in this price range on the inside…another coupe bites the dust 😢
Finally!!! Someone who gets it. I feel so good in mine. That's all. I just feel good in it.
Thank you! This made my day!!! Thanks for watching, enjoy your Q60.

Right on! Enjoy your Q60, awesome cars!
Thank you, I just bought this car . Last one showroom floor.. I just love the way you put it, just enjoy it
Really well done video. It showcases the car (and makes me want one) and your knowledge of the product. Good stuff.
Much appreciated! Thank you!

Informative video, I can tell you're a real car guy unlike a lot of salesman.
I appreciate that! Thank you!
I agree with what you're saying in the video. Totally true.
Great video, I have a 2017 Q60 and I love the car.
Thank you! You have an awesome car!
Its nice to watch a video from a dealership who's host is very professional in appearance and the way he describes the vehicle.
Thank you! Thanks for watching!
Love this vehicle!
Good job. Keep this up. Maturity of talking about a car instead of all those wanna be racer boys.
Thank you!
Beautiful car... Can't wait to obtain one.
Yes! THIS would be a great replacement for your FX37! Amazing cars!
GO FOR IT....
I love my 2020 Q60 🥰❤️🥰❤️
Definitely a nice looking car but Infiniti doesn't need to get rid of it, they just need to increase the HP to keep up with the times. Make it more performance oriented

Why are they discontinuing the q60? I've leased one before, and it's one of my favorites. Great looking car with very nice road manners.

Same here I have a 2020 was looking for the new black s edition car 🥺
I guess because people can’t afford it.. so not enough sales.. but it’s the best coupe ever made
Unfortunately they've had to make cars so eco compliant and safety complaints it not worth it to build cars these days.

Dan, great video content! Any idea when the last orders for the Q60 need to be in by?

Now that's how you rock a nice car! Power suit power tie! Not a damn hoodie, that looks like you just jacked the car...lol.
Ha, thank you!
Love your videos and love Infinity car brand. Specially the beautiful and thoughtful design of each infinity Vehicle. My Favorite is the new QX60.
Glad you like them! Thank you for watching!
It’s unfortunate because as an owner of a Q60 I won’t buy another Infiniti unless they offer something similar.
It really is, an awesome vehicle. Thanks for the comment.

The last real skyline coupe
Man i was hoping they would upgrade the interior but they decided to give up on this car :( i love my q60 just feel the interior is outdated
Totally agree, I wish they kept the Q60, especially now that we are seeing single screens in the QX80 and all digital dash in the new QX60.
Lexus discontinued the GS and now Infiniti Q60. I'm about to banwagon to German cars because Japan is fkn with me.
Noooo I was hoping to get a brand new one after my maxima
It's a shame, I wish we saw some updates instead of discontinuing it.

The bar is low for clarkson as a hero,
