It's just boiled water. Kerala homes and restaurants always provide boiled drinking water. While boiling they add a natural medicinal tree bark too, which gives a pinkish colour but taste like normal water. You can buy packaged mineral water without this also

You have to try every item there(that restaurant), all of that looks like the real deal. I am eagerly waiting for your reaction to that, as it looks like proper Kerala dishes.

i thought my country of vietnam was dense population wise per km squared....but kerala is much denser for this tiny little state. Kerala has a land size of 39 000km2 and a population of 35million. Vietnam has a size of 331 700km2 and population of almost 100 million. Kerala has almost 3x the population density. The weird thing is when you watch the videos it doesn't seem denser than vietnam lol. Probably because vietnam has much more open space available and people are packed in the main cities.

Salkara and Rosario in thoppumpady is the old restaurant.. if you are in Cochin side next time Arafa.Bfor Biryani or rahamatullaa....or if you see any Muslim wedding reception just go inside and eat. We cochinates are very welcoming

Its water boiled with some spices which are good for digestion. I too am not sure of the name of the spices
Better to take boiled water especially in coastal area like kochi because of drinking cold water can give you waterborne diseases.
