They already did, the pyro has a secondary that fires a weak explosive that marks everyone that it hurts, every one on his team can see that person through walls.

Ah yes, the Sluo flirpa... part of its own update. It was actually supposed to be added 5 uears ago almost to the day, at the start of April.
I think the reason this was scrapped, was because an old sniper weapon worked like this, but due to source spaghetti, the see through didn’t work out.

The joke is that Spy IS all of these things. Respectful, well-spoken, methodical, and takes himself WAY too seriously. But he's also a total dork, in an endearing way.
You know, now that you mention it, I don't see many videos discussing scrapped or removed weapons in TF2.
I can't begin to tell you how funny it was to me as a french that you had to look where people speak corsican, only to learn that it's France because Corsica belongs to France, then you hit me with just a confused "what".

You can maybe balance it by making it like his cut Tranquilizer Gun, where you only have one bullet per clip, and its a projectile.
Also this probably was cut for the same reason Sniper's Viewfinder was cut. Where the outline would break some stuff.

All jokes aside, spy actually does have a removed gun in the game files. It was called the “tranquillizer gun”, then the “dart gun”, then finally the “DNA gun”. It was all the same gun, when it was the tranquillizer gun and the dart gun, it shot a projectile that slowed enemies for a decent amount of time.
It was later reworked entirely into the DNA gun, and this is what it did:
The gun shot a projectile that slowed the target down for about one second. It also marked one enemy at a time for the rest of their life, and upon a successful backstab on a marked enemy you would transform into their class. You would also get all of their ammo and metal and all of that, but I personally think getting all of the enemy medic’s übercharge would be a bit too powerful so maybe you wouldn’t get that.
It sounds ridiculous, but I personally think it would be a really cool concept if done right and given good downsides.
I am so used to April Fools videos being on April 2nd due to Americans that I was completely blindsided by this one

There's a custom I found where it's kinda similar to this only without the wall hacking. They make it fire Syringes.
Pretty sure After Breakfast or shounic had covered this at some point though as I remember hearing about a kind of 'dart gun' thing spy almost did have, which makes the joke believable. I like the fake silhouette you made for it though.

Fun fact: 6 chambers revolvers aren't the only type of revolvers. There are revolvers with 5 or less chambers and there are revolvers with 7+ chambers. Why is 6 chambers the "meta" number of chambers you may ask? It's probably 6 is the right amount of chambers to get the job and not take too long to refill said chambers with new bullets

The tracking idea would be useful against a nest considering the fact that it can track ammo. You could wait for the engie to be on low ammo so they go to get some. It would be useful for planned attacks. However, chances are they have a dispenser right next to them and other engies so it might be situational

Genuinely an interesting concept! An actual balanced version might have the mark wear off so the spy has to risk it more times.

closest to that is team fortress 2 classics tranq gun. it fires 1 syringe which causes the targets vision to be greyed out and granted your knife increased damage (i think just crit boosting it) leading to an achievement where you need to kill 5 enemies with that combo. quite difficult since you only have 1 shot per clip with an insanely slow reload & firing speed not to mention abysmal damage worse than the letranger. Then theres custom weapon servers that lets spy duel wield 1911s or something and forgo his knife in order to punch his enemies
im ngl this joke video has better pacing than most your vids, i prefer not having the long pauses between sentences constantly and its honestly really well structured good shit man
