It's nice to see you commentating on your videos again Runny-san! I've been busy with work so I wasn't able to watch much of your videos but it's nice to hear from you again! :D
I love your content Runny! Talking or no, your cooking is always enjoyable to watch. I hope you keep having fun doing it. Thank you for sharing and producing these for all of us to enjoy!
It looks delicious! And don't worry, I too have the same problem with the eggs every time I have to transfer everything onto my bowl. It always breaks apart.😭 I wish you a happy early new year!
With regards to your outro: "How many recipes did you actually try?" I cook some of your recipes every week! Your ramen, okonomiyaki and miso veggie dishes, for example. Also the salmon rice pot. All of those are very tasty and easy to make. This one I will try once I find star anise. :)
nice recipe, most fun part _snack time "iam into this right now" more like "iam thru this already".. btw what do you think about seki kitchen knifes? (thinking about getting my hands on one)
I was starting to get really sad until 8:00 because I thought there was no jingle this time. 😅 Also, could you maybe talk a little about portion sizes in Japan? From a westerner‘s point of view your portions and bowls always look really small compared to your hand and I always wonder how an adult can eat his fill from it.
I try most of these out since I love japanese/chinese food and it's very different from what we eat here in eastern Europe. Some ingredients can be pretty hard to get though.
This dish looks really yummy, and actually doesn't seem hard. I think I would actually be able to make it. I think I'll cook my egg longer though. It doesn't look fully cooked, and not fully cooked scrambled eggs (I know it's not really scrambled, but it's close enough) grosses me out. Otherwise though this dish looked Delicious. Thanks Runny-san ^_^
You typically want them a lot more runny and creamy than this (for oyakodon), he was actually disappointed because he overcooked them. If you're worried about the safety of your eggs you could try pasteurized eggs.
Thanks for the suggestion. That's only half the issue with me though. I just can't get over the texture of soft, runny eggs (unless it's a sunny side up and the white is Fully cooked). If I try this, mine probably won't be fully authentic due to cooking my egg longer, but I'm sure it would be just as yummy. Thanks for replying with that suggestion though ^_^

At what temperature do you put the chicken in the oven? And how long? :O

How long did you bake the chicken and at what temperature? Thank you for the upload!
The chicken will already be mostly cooked from the simmer; just roast to get the skin brown and crispy.
That is one thigh? Looks huge.
MsJavaWolf I was convinced this was a turkey thigh or something, it is enormous!
damn thats fine
😃
