First off, I vote Brian gets to play wargames on stream on a regular basis. Hes great at explaining, and helps remove the stigma that these are too complicated. Would be great to see him move into some of the heavier ones. I also had a rules querry, with regards to broken units, I thought they couldnt fire weapons? I also thought this applied to suppressed units as well.
I'm definitely late to the party but I'm super excited to be getting a copy of this soon, after having sold my original copy years ago. One thing I'm confused about: At 13:50 why couldn't those units move into the intended hex? Couldn't they use their 1 MP to move onto the road, get their bonus, and then use 1 MP to move into the brush/road hex? (Should cost 1 MP, not 2, to follow the road, right?) Anyway, glad I found this playthrough.
Love the two videos Brian has done with this great game and hope you do more of them. One thing, Brian was not giving his units +1 for a cover bonus behind the hedges during his defensive rolls.
I came Late to the game but you can teach. Would love to see more games like this. I walked away with a firm understanding of the game mechanics. Maybe play pacific would be great.i subd because of this video
In the playbook, certain scenarios tell you that you have to deploy your troops, let’s say, 12 hexes deep or 4 hexes deep.. how does that work? How do you count the hexes? I can’t be in a straight line right? Because there is only 10 hexes of the same letter..
Excellent,...please, more Combat Commander episodes!!
Brian is such a great sport. Wish there were more playthroughs

Wonderful play-through! It gives a good feel for the joy of playing this game. A vote for either CC: Pacific or CC: Resistance some day.
Really enjoyed this one! Keep up the great work Amanda!

Defender may only choose one Cover. The Foxhole was a Cover of 3, therefore it was used, not the Hedge Cover of only 1.
Amazing video! Great game and a tense one also!
What artist u play on start?
Ronald Jenkees is who we licensed music from. Cheers!

At 1:17:38 the german machine gun is fired, that is wrong. From rule "11.1 Effect: Only and unbroken, unsuppressed unit may fire its wepon"

Lolo The Rico That rule applies when the board is oriented 90 degrees for that scenario.
Amanda, what did you think about this game? To fun or too random?
LOVED it! Had so much fun! -A
Late to this party but wow! I thought the Germans were dead in the water but ........
