You saved me over 300€, I called in the plumber and without hesitation he said the problem was with the electronic module. I, an electrical and computer engineer, quickly doubted his analysis, looked at the display and it was on E:25, leading me to this video. I popped off the little plastic cover and found a triangular piece of glass perfectly fitting the pumps orifice, preventing it from spinning.
You saved me! Came home to a broken dishwasher and a broken clothes washer. I’ve been cleaning laundry in my bath tub waiting for the repair man to fix both and saw your video. Got it fixed before he came!! Saved me at the least the 100.00 flat rate service fee. The pump was froze. At the least I can thank you by following!! Thanks so much!!

I followed his instructions to solve an E25 error code, including popping off the little plastic cover and finding the culprit, a bit of rubber-bandy-cushioning that came off one of the cats' water dishes. I'm so grateful for the clear directions and the lift of spirit provided by the adorable puppy.

Worked perfectly! Thought I was stuck when I cleaned out the filter and couldn’t dig any deeper. The manual had no info on error codes but this video explained how easy it is to access the propellor if you know how and what to unclip. Small piece of glass was removed (with pliers) and everything was put back together easily. THANK YOU! Tip: I wouldn’t stick your hand in there in case there is glass-be cautious!

The pump on my machine began to make a horrible sound a few days ago, and I thought I had to call a tech. But I followed your video and turns out there was a tiny bit of plastic stuck in of the ridges of the propeller, which I never knew how to get to. Now she runs like a dream! Thanks, never thought for a minute it would actually work. I took the cover off, tried to turn the propeller and it was stuck. Levered it with the spoon to get it moving and now it’s working again.

Lurgs you are my hero! Error code E25 came up the morning we were due to go on holiday. Managed to sponge out the standing water before we left and followed your instructions on our return. Result! Small piece of elastic from a chicken wrapped round the propeller was the culprit. Fixed and working a few minutes later! Saved us a fortune!

Thank you for this info. Dug into the pump impeller housing and found a plastic tab wrapped around it. Pulled it out and now it works fine. Save me the cost of a service call. I spared my wife's toothbrush, however. lol

Thank you very much for your video. I followed it step by step and actually found a small piece of clear plastic stuck in the impeller! How it got there I have no idea. Took several tries with tweezers to get it out. You saved me a $350 service call - that too I would have had to wait several days since it is the Memorial Day weekend. Nice work!!!
Thanks so much for posting this! I used my wet/dry vac to remove the standing water then I was able to access and clean the filter (propeller was not clogged or damaged either) and reassembled everything. Did want to add that after I cleaned the filter and repowered the dishwasher the "E:25" error code did clear, however, I then had to hold the Start button for 3 seconds to reset (and drain) the dishwasher during which the display showed "0:01". Once that process completed I reloaded the dishes and ran it on a full cycle and it worked exactly as expected 👍

Great video my Neff washer had the e25 error. The white cover wasn't correctly seated so the pump couldn't always empty the water. Thanks for your video very helpful.

Thanks for the informative video! The DW threw an E25 code. Pulled the filter and it looked good. Tried to put the unit back in and it wouldn’t set down. Found the clip was out. How this occurred is a mystery to me, but my friend’s DW is back in operation! You rock!

Thanks for your help with this vid! I've been away 3 weeks and got the E25 error on returning. Fantastic results as I cleaned the gunk off, drained the (whatever it is called, I'm going to go with) "thingy" and voila - a working dishwasher again - Although, I didn't use my wife's toothbrush, but a garden hose outside on a jet setting. Can't say I recommend my method as I ended up wearing a good deal of it - thank you again for the helpful upload - subbed!

Lurgs - thanks dude! thanks to you I cleared the impellor of a small bit of broken glass. Yours was the only vid that shows how to remove the white impellor cover... which is clearly where the bits get stuck and cause the E25 problem.

Excellent video, thanks! I think the u-bend is to hold water, not stop blockages moving further, but to block gases from coming back up the pipe and into the home.

Thank you Lurgs! I just followed these instructions and got the machine working again. Something (it felt like sandy sediment maybe?) was blocking the little gear thing below the pull-out tab. I got it moving again and the machine is now working!
@@LurgsHowToGuides I watched the game, too. I had no skin in the game, being from North America. It always strikes me as heartbreaking when a long long game comes down to a shootout. The teams are evenly matched, obviously, so why force this kind of ending? Even in NFL football, an overtime period can feel arbitrary, but not nearly so much as in these brief shootouts. I always feel for the individual players so much, as if an entire season of work depends on one brief kick or block. It's not fair to the professionals on the field.
Great video! found the culprit -it was a piece of glass lodge in the propeller- we couldn't take it out so we broke it into smaller pieces and sucked it up w/ the shop vac.

The trick was removing the clip. Found a piece of porcelain coffee cup handle that made it through the strainer, jamming the impeller. Thanks!

Thank you very much for your video. I followed it step by step and actually found a small piece of clear plastic stuck in the impeller! How it got there I have no idea. Took several tries with tweezers to get it out. You saved me a $350 service call - that too I would have had to wait several days since it is the Memorial Day weekend. Nice work!!!

Thanks so much for posting this! I used my wet/dry vac to remove the standing water then I was able to access and clean the filter (propeller was not clogged or damaged either) and reassembled everything. Did want to add that after I cleaned the filter and repowered the dishwasher the "E:25" error code did clear, however, I then had to hold the Start button for 3 seconds to reset (and drain) the dishwasher during which the display showed "0:01". Once that process completed I reloaded the dishes and ran it on a full cycle and it worked exactly as expected 👍

Thanks for the informative video! The DW threw an E25 code. Pulled the filter and it looked good. Tried to put the unit back in and it wouldn’t set down. Found the clip was out. How this occurred is a mystery to me, but my friend’s DW is back in operation! You rock!

Thanks for your help with this vid! I've been away 3 weeks and got the E25 error on returning. Fantastic results as I cleaned the gunk off, drained the (whatever it is called, I'm going to go with) "thingy" and voila - a working dishwasher again - Although, I didn't use my wife's toothbrush, but a garden hose outside on a jet setting. Can't say I recommend my method as I ended up wearing a good deal of it - thank you again for the helpful upload - subbed!

Lurgs - thanks dude! thanks to you I cleared the impellor of a small bit of broken glass. Yours was the only vid that shows how to remove the white impellor cover... which is clearly where the bits get stuck and cause the E25 problem.

Thank you Lurgs! I just followed these instructions and got the machine working again. Something (it felt like sandy sediment maybe?) was blocking the little gear thing below the pull-out tab. I got it moving again and the machine is now working!

@@LurgsHowToGuides I watched the game, too. I had no skin in the game, being from North America. It always strikes me as heartbreaking when a long long game comes down to a shootout. The teams are evenly matched, obviously, so why force this kind of ending? Even in NFL football, an overtime period can feel arbitrary, but not nearly so much as in these brief shootouts. I always feel for the individual players so much, as if an entire season of work depends on one brief kick or block. It's not fair to the professionals on the field.
Before penalties were invented it was decided on the toss of a coin!!! So penalties are not ideal but still better than that.
Great video! found the culprit -it was a piece of glass lodge in the propeller- we couldn't take it out so we broke it into smaller pieces and sucked it up w/ the shop vac.
