1977 LIVE version of Crazy On You features an AMAZING guitar intro by Iconic Nancy Wilson, it is an absolute MUST SEE !! Heart is a Rock & Roll HOF Band with DOZENS of incredible songs.........Nancy Sings Lead on "These Dream" and "Stranded" Baracuda, Magic Man, TOTAL Epic Masterpiece "Alone" Dog and Butterfly, All I Wanna Do, Dreamboat Annie............an endless list..............MORE Heart, Please !!!
@THEPATRIOT1000 we found out waiting to go in as someone had a transistor radio. No cell phones or social media back in the caveman days. Rick Derringer opened for them. I don't remember if he said anything. But Heart played Zeppelins "Rock and Roll" and dedicated it to the King.
This song usually has a great guitar intro by Nancy. Check out some of the live version if you're interested in that. My Favorite Heart song. I always interpreted the lyrics as hold on to the one you love as respite from the cruelty in the world.
I got to see them in clubs in Portland in the mid 70's. Had a crush on Ann, she was such a beauty, not that Nancy wasn't, it was just Ann that caught my eye first.
A lot of the lyrics reference the Vietnam war which was going on at the time of them writing this. the ...'kids keep coming home'... is a reference to the young boys who were killed in the war.
Thank you for reacting to some Heart. I’m glad you enjoyed Crazy on You. I hope you check out Dog and Butterfly, and Red Velvet Car sometime. If you ever have the chance you should listen to their entire Dream Boat Annie album If I remember correctly Ann and Nancy can play 14 different instruments. (Someone please correct me if I’m wrong)
React to "Alone." The one that starts with Nancy, the blonde playing piano. Ann's vocals are off the chart.

Heart had two big hit singles on their debut album, Crazy On You and Magic Man, which is even better.
I saw them on the day Elvis died way back on August 16th, 1977. Great show. Nancy had a longer intro to this song that evening.
Did they say anything about Elvis?

The intro from Nancy needs to be in there for sure - rock music at its finest
I second that. I saw them way back in 1977, and Nancy's intro was epic.

Anne is 74 now, and still has a great voice.

I know a guy who plays the tympani in an orchestra, his name is Al. Go Rhythm!!
Some comments have deeper meaning. I guess some do not.😀
That mike may not be real as this is the studio recording over a live performance video.
